Uhaul have been a nightmare (not the fault of this location). We selected to pick up via the app, we got the key to the truck no problem but the app wouldnt let us check out the truck. We then called customer service and were on hold for OVER AN HOUR waiting for someone to deal with us. The customer rep then told us that we would need additional ID as we were checking out the truck manually, which of course we didnt have as we werent checking out manually. Eventually they let us check out the truck.Niel F.

Auto Depot in Raleigh, NC has attempted to fraudulently charge me for 5 days of usage of a 5x8 trailor that was not used a total of 6 hours. I will never rent any piece of Uhaul equipment from any business other than an actual Uhaul rental center.NANCY N.

A process that should've taken about 10-15 minutes took about 45. The employees at Auto Depot were kind, but not quick problem solvers. I had originally reserved a 15' truck, 2 dozen furniture moving blankets, 2 furniture dollies and 1 appliance dolly. The same day of my pick-up, I realized I also needed a lock - so I called to ask if they had one. The employee I spoke with said yes, and I asked for it to be put to the side with my name on it so I could use that as well. When I arrived, there were no furniture blankets, not a single one, and there was a furniture dolly missing and the lock was also no longer available. When the employee I was checking in with realized there were no furniture blankets, he called UHaul to get my bill altered on my behalf. There was a lot of back and forth and he seemed to not know what the different items that I had reserved actually were and needed a lot of assistance from the UHaul service lady. Then when the second furniture dolly was nowhere to be found, he said he would call and get that fixed on my bill as well - but I never received the second adjusted bill, so I had to call myself. So yes, the equipment was clean - but no it was not well maintained because they had no idea what they had in their inventory. What was the point of reserving all of these items (minus the lock) in advance, if I was not going to receive these items?JORDAN B.
