I really hate to engage with UHAL Forever! When I submit my order I clear said NO to the Protection Plan but finally they charged me 14USD as the Protection Plan. Its kind of stealing money from the Customer rather doing a fair business. Worst to the Worst you U-HALNarayana A.

I was charged $8.00 for safe tow coverage that I did not want or order. The overhead door was sticking and very difficult to open. It really pisses me off when a company rips me off, even if its only 8 bucks.Douglas L.

Did not have the second furniture dolly I requested. Made the move more difficult due to the distance from the apartment to the parking lot. The AP for returning the vehicle is terrible. A little out of sequence. Need to tell the customer that they will need the following information, before they turn the keys in or drop them in the drop box. Tough to take a picture of the mileage when the truck is already locked. it took three cell phones to get the AP to recognize my location. Will never go to a off site location again. U haul changed it on me, after i reserved a unit at a Uhaul store location. The location was less than 2 blocks away, really? they couldn't get the truck to the original location where I could have gotten the equipment I reserved.... they were also one blanket short in the count.Jamie B.

I would like to give a review of the U-Haul Rental System not just the Rental Partner/location. The people I dealt were very helpful, but the rental system allowed me to rent equipment to tow my car but didn't tell me my car (2008 Toyota Prius) wouldn't fit on the tow dolly even though the tow vehicle and the being towed vehicle is input into the rental system. Bumper facia and below would be damaged and torn off if I were to pull/push the car onto the tow dolly. I should not be able to rent a tow dolly for a car that it's not suited to fit. Hopefully U-Haul management will reimburse me for my charges. On top of the expense, hours were wasted trying to get this to safely work but no luck there.Dean D.

I spoke with and arranged to rent my truck from Silvernail Car Center. Despite having talked on the telephone with them TWICE to confirm my reservation well in advance of pickup, they emailed me, WHILE I WAS DRIVING TO THEIR LOCATION, to say that my rental was going to come from Auto House. Of course, reading emails while driving is a distracted driver and illegal, so I didn't find out about the change of rental locations until I arrived at Silvernail Car Center. I booked a rental in April to move in mid-June. They called to confirm the day prior and changed the pick up to a location not far away, but with hours that I would not be able to pick up during. They refuse to transfer the equipment to a different location 6 miles away and claim that there were no other trailers available anywhere between Milwaukee and Des Moines. They said that it is moving season so it is hard to get available equipment, which is why I booked it so far in advance. This exact same thing happened for my previous two moves as well. They upgraded it to a much larger trailer and assured me that it was compatible with my car. Upon looking into this further, it was absolutely not compatible and I am glad I caught this before I picked it up. I called back later that night and they somehow now had the trailer I was looking for at the location I requested. U-haul is incredibly unreliable and has poor customer service in ensuring that reservations are honored. Unfortunately U-Haul was the only company in the area that offered one way trailer rentals, but in the future when I need a moving truck or a same day rental, I will never choose u-haul for my move and will not recommended it to others.Kelly B.

There was lots of scratches on the vehicle all on the top edges and most of the truck was clean. Did what any other truck would do get the job done. I was more worried if I would be charged for those previous damages with the scratches on the top edges. But I wasn't fortunately. However the availability of the vehicle came in real handy in my time of need if I had to rate out of 10 on my overall satisfaction 7.5/10Maria V.

When I request a refund for a service, don't delay the process to take over 31 calendar days or 20 business days just to initiate a 5 business day refund. This is very unacceptable and I would like to discuss ways to compensate for this inconvenience and disrespect.Robert G.

There was some confusion with the online reservation - I thought I had reserved the truck at a nearby location (less than 1 mile away). It wasn't a significant issue, but it did result in an initial delay. Once we got to the right spot things went smoothly.Pam K.
The one guy I dealt with on the phone from here was kind of rude both days I talked to him as well as when we picked up the truck - but when we returned the truck the person behind the counter was very polite and helpful. Also when renting on online thinking your pick up will be at that location only to find out you have to go 15 miles MORE to pick up AND drop off is crazy - but I don't think we should have to be responsible for the extra miles on that one. this location was excellent in their service and saved the weekend--we had a truck reserved for 10am at your corporate store less than a mile away,they called me @ 9am to say there was no truck available-except in the city of Milwaukee. The employee that called did not try to resolve the issue. I looked up U-Haul myself and found the closer location. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!michael R.
