Needed the equipment at 6:30 pm since was not available at Dunlap they referred to BBB who changed my pick up time to 5:45 pm. Early the day of my pick up BBB called me to pick it up even earlier at 4:30 pm to avoid the risk of been rented who left me with no option. If I did an reservation online why would I need to pick it up early to secure the equipment?JAIME A.

This location I renewed from must be brand new. They were totally un-organized. I had to put a strap onto the trailer to move it off the truck(which they had no key for)so I could hook it up to my vehicle. The attendant didn't know how to un-hook or hook up the trailer. I was released fro this location with no paper work and when I returned the next day at 11:30 to return the location was closed? As a senior citizen they haul.com site was mystifying. I waited at the location for about 43 minutes before one of your reps walked me thru how to do the online return. There should be a tab on your site that clearly says â€œ online return â€œ for old farts like me to use.jim E.
This was not the location I picked however, I was told three days before my pickup that the location I picked didn't have a van. Not sure how this happened as it was available weeks prior when I booked.. This location i was sent to is a furniture store! My time was changed, showed up at scheduled time owner was out delivering furniture so I had to waitâ€¦ I was told I had to give an estimate of how many miles I would go. I was assured that I would get a refund if I did not use the miles. I tried to return the vehicle at the agreed-upon time only to find out their computers were down. They sent me to another U-Haul place who refused to take my vehicle. That place sent me to a third U-Haul place who refused to take the vehicle. I eventually ended it taking it back to the original location only to find the furniture store locked again!!!! Had to wait again!!!!! I was told by an employee that they would reimburse me for 10 miles since I had to drive out of my way. Of course their computers were down so I was not able to get any supporting documents . This has been nothing but a hassle from the very beginning. U-Haul should deal only with U-Haul ovations and not fly by night owners of other businesses. I will never rent U-Haul again. Needless to say I was not reimbursed for the miles I had to travel out of my way and the miles he said I traveled was inaccurate!!!!!!!Tori S.
Only complaint if that I had to confirm fuel level wasn't what was on the contract. U had them change it to be accurate it it shows there's a missed step in the check in process, or a gas thief nearby. Incidentally the place I returned it to tried to argue me down to a gallon of gas.Vincent M.

I made my reservation over a month before and I wasn't called till the morning of the pick up at 7am for a 10am pick up that the van was not available at the location I made my reserations at but that I had to go to another location then I was called by that location that they wouldn't be there till after 10:30JOHN K.

The keyless entry did not work and the store was closed. We called Uhaul and stayed on hold over an hour. When we finally reached someone, the call was dropped. My husband found a way to call the owner of the store who told him there was a mistake, and instead of 7 pm on our requested day, the truck would be ready at 7 am the next morning. Mu husband and I were very upset, tried to call Uhaul again, and never made a connection because we waited on hold again for almost an hour. We decided we would make our move work the next morning. The next morning, my husband WALKED again to the store. On the way, I received an email stating our reservation got canceled. I called my husband panicked. Of course when my husband arrived, the promised keys were not there and the store was closed. There were also homeless people sitting in the cab of our Uhaul as the truck had not been locked. I called Uhaul and sat on hold. My husband called the owner again, and they said an employee was supposed to call us, but never did. Finally my husband got the keys and the truck. My husband said it smelled horrifically and there was trash in the truck, but at least we got it. AFTER my husband walked back, the phone call to Uhaual finally connected. My husband asked to speak to a supervisor. After being put on hold again, a very rude women took his call. As he was telling her our story, she hung up on him. I am livid at Uhaual's lack of customer service, efficiency, and any business sense whatsoever.Nicholas W.

The van provided was disgusting had cigarette ashes, a quarter tank of gas, an open bottle of vodka in the passenger door, a cigarette but in the rear. The check in took 15-20 minutes and only one staff member available to do it by shouting for them.Michael R.

Don't changed the appointment time an hour and 15 minutes after 30 minutes of me trying to pick up the truck using the share truck feature, and then try to tell me it is due back by the time it would originally be if it was picked up at its original time. This location is a furniture store; I was originally scheduled to pick up at another location a mile or so away but they called and said no truck was available and I gave them two weeks notice. I got charged for an extra day when I shouldn't have and U Haul Representative didn't know what to do to fix it. After waiting for too long I just decided to pay the extra 30 bucks. Horrible experience.ganzalo L.
The regular Uhaul store I use didn't have a one way trailer this time.I had to go into a very dirty furniture store I did not fill safe than had to go look in the back of the wear house to find the right man to help. After spending 40min. Watching him poke his own lap top he could not figure out what he needed to do. So he call a man named Felix and spoke Spanish so I could not under stand. After all that he took my card and said your ready. I ask who was hooking up trailer he said you I guess .i would have to charge you $20.00 dollars to hook it up for you. The whole process was very uncomfortable and it is my hoe you fix this very unprofessional and if this is what's next for Uhaul it will be the last time.Rob S.
