The U-Haul rental was text book perfect. Neil finished up the rental agreement and is a true gentleman. He showed us the truck and off we went. Return was as easy as dropping the key in a mail box. Thank You, Ed

When a customer rents a dolly for the move let them know ahead of time that it won’t be available instead of finding out when they arrive at the shop the morning of the move that they do not have a dolly in their possession. Also, store had two dollies, but apparently they were for in store use only. Made my move much more laborious.

Only issue was that the person in charge of opening the business was 15 minutes late, therefor it made me late for an airport pick up, other than that the equipment was excellent, no complaints.

It took over an hour to get the vehicle after doing all the paperwork online. Then the key needed to be reset and took another 20 minutes! And then to top it off there was barely a quarter of a tank of gas, so I filled it up and returned it at 3/4 of a tank and they didn’t offer a discount on mileage, nothing just said the next renter will thank me with their hands in the air. Very disappointed with the complete lack of customer service and blamed t all in the computer. Would never recommend this location.

I was told at the location that there wouldn’t be additional charges but we went over the miles and it cost extra. What really bothered me though was that I told the guy in Brewster 4 or 5 times that I’m going to Rosendale New York and he could not get it right and he set me to drop off on Long Island which is 4 hours in the wrong direction. So I had to, instead of moving my stuff, call customer service and have it fixed. Uhaul is a good service but that guy doesn’t know how to work a computer.

I did an after-hours drop off. There were no directions or signage about where to park the U-Haul or drop the keys. Thankfully my friend saw the top of another U-Haul truck poking out over a roof and we took an extremely steep little unmarked driveway up behind the location and parked on the roof. There wasn't an available parking space (3/4 of the lot was roped off) so we parked where we could.

Provide better parking accommodations for the U-Haul equipment and the customers vehicles. Overall, my experience with Neil at this location was excellent. He was pleasant and he made the process of renting the truck easy and quick. I highly recommend his service.

It would be nice if the people who rent these vans or pick up trucks don’t smoke in them. The smell lingers. Otherwise I had a pleasant experience and loved the fact that there’s always something available for rental.

The pick up was easy once the location was set. The rep readily helped complete paperwork and ensured I had what I needed. Your reservation process, however, has got ti improve. This was my second rental in 6 weeks. I realize that the requested pick up location is a "preference" only, and one way rentals are challenging, but in both cases my pick up location was changed to one which was extremely inconvenient. In the second case, it was changed from Danbury CT to Hamden CT, which is over 40 miles away and completely in appropriate. I had to call to change the reservation, and although the people were pleasant, I sat on the phone for a total of 35 mins and through 2 transfers to correct. The first change was similar. You are costing your company and rentals time and money - to the point where I will likely look elsewhere for my next truck rental. A suggestion - if the need arises to change a reservation, contact the renter at the time of the change via phone to ask if that change is acceptable. It not only may save some time and money, but will improve customer service. It would avoid folsk like me needing to chase you. Had I missed the text, I would have been in a lot of trouble.

Didn't have any furniture blankets unless I was doing a local and could return them. Said they got "wiped out" during the week. Had to go to another U-Haul to get them and ended up using more mileage than allotted. Spent an extra $5.

This was not the site I ordered from but I was redirected here. Shop opened 15 min late even thought I had a 9am pick-up scheduled. The clerk knew nothing about mt truck and even said I was in the wrong place. until he checking my confirmation # he realized they had the truck I need, It seemed to me that there was no communication between parties company & store
