Wrong size truck, and one just came in, but wouldn't let me have it. Had to make 3 trips instead of one. No ramp no granny attic. Never again!!!Carl M.
The trucks were parked too closely together so it was difficult to get into the vehicle. It was also challenging to pull out the vehicle since the mirrors were pushed into the side and couldn't be pushed out, due to lack of space. I recommend parking the vehicles with adequate space for at least the driver to enter the vehicle and the mirrors to be pushed out. If this is not possible have someone from the store pull out the vehicles for the customers.BRANDY A.

I paid for a dolly that was not included. I also was told to bring back the truck with the gas at 3/8 a tank which is what I left the lot with and received 2 surcharges for it. I placed over 100 miles on the truck and I had no problem giving my hard earned money. To pay extra for items I did not even receive is not right. I will be using another company moving forward. I'm a single father with two children, this isn't right. I will be contacting human resource in 2 days when I am off work next. Have a safe day and thank you for your time.DONALDT H.
I would maybe mention somewhere in the notes or information that the drop off lot is behind the store if you go after hours. I wasn't sure where the lot was actually located to return and found it after turning on a random street to turn around. Once we found the lot, the return process after hours was great and easy!THOMASA L.
I did not get the utility dolly I reserved. The 24/7 Truck share pickup share took almost a half hour. I would have liked to have known ahead of time it could take that long so I could have planned better. Other than the above everything else was great. ThanksPatrick K.

The pick up routine was very difficult. It took way too long to get help on the phone. The number provided never was answered. The system was rejecting accurate information. In short I hated the automated process.Adrienne F.
It was too much hassle.I reserved the truck 1 week ahead and when I picked it up,there was nothing under my name and spent quite the time waiting for things to get straightened out.The clerk had very little knowledge of how to fix things.I was on limited time with moving helpers and had to pay them for the time that I had spent at this location.I will be asking for a partial/full refund on this experience.I was assured by Neil that everything was all set only to show up and go through undo stressMARIA C.
I had the most horrible experience with uhaul because you overbooked and my truck in original location was not there. This truck was very far from where we were and completely ruined our move and the day after. I have multiple family members and friends moving soon and I will be sure to share my experience so they do not use you.Joseph R.
The APP for early access to get the truck before the store is open was HORRIBLE and unusable to check in. I was there at 7am to pick up ( store opens at 10) w/ the APP and the APP wouldn't work so I had to wait for the store to open 3hrs later. Also if I were to take the truck I would not have had the "appliance Dolly" that I had ordered w/ it as well since they never put it on the truck. the experience as whole was HORRIBLE but to no fault of the store . It was horrible because of the lack of implementation and technology of the systems you have in place. I will NOT be using it again! The only reason I recomend the Store is becasue the young lady that took care of me was incredibly helpful in even trying to use her own phone to check in to the APP and it didn't work with her as well. She even had trouble w/ the computer system used to do the process so it took me almost 40 minutes to just PICK UP THE TRUCK which is what made the experience a HORRIBLE ONE!!! I recomend the actual store because of the nice help BUT I will NOT recommend U-haul as an option since your systems lack efficiency and convenience which is what all consumers like myself want. Everything was great until I had to wait for almost 15 minutes under the rain for online approval of my rental. I had to chat with them several times without response.... Saturday at 8:30 AMJorge S.

The process to release the keys and also to check the vehicle in when dropping off is a joke, it could not be more archaic, during the check in process, I had to submit my picture and license, why couldn't I do this ahead of time? I also had to supply to alternative contacts and was told UHaul would call them at 8:45am on a saturday to confirm my identity before releasing the vehicle to me. I suggest downloading the Silvercar, Enterprise Carshare, Mint or other apps and replicate the process for your login/logout. I could not have created a more beuqacratic or inefficient way to access the vehicle.Michael H.

Gass gage / amount was a issue for me It was not an accurate reading,I ended putting additional money/Gass into the tank -To return the truck with the gass at the pick up amount/documented. All Uhall trucks should be completely filled when picked up not 5/8 or something like that. It's Unacceptable ,when I get a loner car from my car dealership you get the car with a full tank of Gass you must return the car filled - that is the perfect way to pick up a vehicle . Nothing else should be acceptable Thank youJames G.

Unless you speak directly to a Customer Service rep present on scene, the whole Check In process is confusing. Had my more computer literate son not been present, I'd still be sitting in that parking lot trying to figure out how to open the lock box to retrieve the van keys! Also, the sheer fuzziness of the contract left me feeling anxious about whether or not I was going to get ripped off. All in all, I was grateful to have been able to rent from you. But I am equally grateful that the experience was over. Also, was it made clear that the van would automatically lock itself? When I left the keys on the console, the doors locked! We had to struggle mightily to find a way to open the door without damaging the van. This was one more anxiety producing moment to the whole experience.Douglas P.

I rented a one-way from New York to Tennessee. The rate was quoted for 5 days. I asked multiple times if the rate would be adjusted if I delivered the truck sooner. I was told multiple times that the difference would be credited. I returned the truck in less than 3 days. The Tennessee location then told me that no credit was due. I was angry at having been misled. I do not fault the service locations, but I find it outrageous. The truck was available for UHaul to rent to another customer.James W.

Brewster Location Saved the day. I had booked a 26 foot truck with corporate and they guaranteed to have it which they didn't. I was given the run around by several different agents. I called Brewster location, while they didn't have the 26 foot truck they understood my situation and helped to resolve the issue. It was close enough to home. Great service and new truck. It was a great experience. I only wish they would have told me the drop off location was closed, and that I would have to check out the rental with a phone app. I didn't do that, because I was not informed. The U-Haul rental was text book perfect. Neil finished up the rental agreement and is a true gentleman. He showed us the truck and off we went. Return was as easy as dropping the key in a mail box. Thank You, EdEdward R.
When a customer rents a dolly for the move let them know ahead of time that it won't be available instead of finding out when they arrive at the shop the morning of the move that they do not have a dolly in their possession. Also, store had two dollies, but apparently they were for in store use only. Made my move much more laborious.Michael M.

Only issue was that the person in charge of opening the business was 15 minutes late, therefor it made me late for an airport pick up, other than that the equipment was excellent, no complaints.monica W.
It took over an hour to get the vehicle after doing all the paperwork online. Then the key needed to be reset and took another 20 minutes! And then to top it off there was barely a quarter of a tank of gas, so I filled it up and returned it at 3/4 of a tank and they didn't offer a discount on mileage, nothing just said the next renter will thank me with their hands in the air. Very disappointed with the complete lack of customer service and blamed t all in the computer. Would never recommend this location.margaret O.

I was told at the location that there wouldn't be additional charges but we went over the miles and it cost extra. What really bothered me though was that I told the guy in Brewster 4 or 5 times that I'm going to Rosendale New York and he could not get it right and he set me to drop off on Long Island which is 4 hours in the wrong direction. So I had to, instead of moving my stuff, call customer service and have it fixed. Uhaul is a good service but that guy doesn't know how to work a computer.stephen V.
I did an after-hours drop off. There were no directions or signage about where to park the U-Haul or drop the keys. Thankfully my friend saw the top of another U-Haul truck poking out over a roof and we took an extremely steep little unmarked driveway up behind the location and parked on the roof. There wasn't an available parking space (3/4 of the lot was roped off) so we parked where we could.Blake U.
