Inspections,rented a trailer on 9/17/20 for trip to Texas, had tire delamination on 9/ 19/20, wasted 2 an1/2 hrs waiting for service on problem that could have been avoided, tire should not have been on that trailer,3 good tires one bad, a trailer that was hard to control at times and unsafe, if I didn't catch bulge in tire who knows what would have happened, and after service call no one called to check on us, the bright spot in all of this was Dustin who got tire changed and got us on our way and inspected the rest of the trailer to make sure it was safe to travel, I believe I deserve a refund of trailer cost, I was afraid to let my son drive who could have helped with the 1700 mile drive, we will see if I hear from you because I was going to call and put in complaint, when people rent from you we expect a safe and maintained equipment, which was lacking here this goes beyond a simple tire issue, this is nobody gave a damn

Returned the Uhaul a few minutes prior to return time. Placed the keys in the outside box & personally went inside & informed the desk we brought the truck back & placed the keys in the box. He acknowledged & thanked me. Two hours later, our dinner was interupted when they called us & informed us our return time had passed & asked when we were going to return the truck. Incompetence on his part.

We rented a uhaul to move our daughter from Brooklyn Motor Sports in Brooklyn CT this past Sat. The rep asked her dad how many miles did we expect to go. He told them it's like 30 miles to her new place. 8 said, “no it's more like 45 miles each way”. Mind you, we had rented uhaul for 3 days to move her. Representive put 8nto computer the lower mileage figure of 30 miles and made the mistake of putting it as only 30 miles total for 3 days. That is a rediculous number for 3 days as it's like 40+ miles each way to move her things and they moved for 3 days caus8ng us to go over the est mileage by 100's of miles. I used my debit card as my ex had cash on him and they won't taje cash. I'm now out over 90+ dollars I did not count on spending. Her dad ( my ex) gave us $140 for rental and gas. We ended up spending over 190.00 total because of the sales representatives mistake. I phone BMS and explained the error. They admitted he the rep misunderstood the mileage but won't reimburse us. I would never recommend this uhaul location to anyone. I've now been on hold with corporate for over 15 min to dispute our charges and complain

I took my picture and a picture of my license and uploaded them prior to going to the pick up location, as per the instructions. However, at the pick up location I had to do it all over again. You should fix this so we don't have to waste time doing everything twice. After I uploaded everything it took 20 minutes before I was approved. Please make the approval process quicker. Thank you.

I returned the truck the same day amber never received a receipt on how much they charge . The guy never checked the truck in ... The next day I received a call from uhaul because they said the truck was not returned. I had went by the location that morning and the truck was gone they had already rented it to someone else but I got charged for a full day?????

Try respect and common courtesy. I was confronted with a take it or leave it attitude for a trailer that was dirty, over used and in "tired" condition; a trailer for which I was charged 5 times the rate for a similar trailer last fall, same trip.

I will never rent from uhaul again after this last time. For 8 hours of use I paid 2 rental charges and an exorbitant amount on mileage. I have rented much larger trucks and spent much less than this. $280 for a short trip in a small truck without any equipment is criminal

Gave us a vehicle that sounded like it was going to die. Even the mirror was making noise on the highway. Than they cared us for a broken mirror.. it was that way well before we got it.! Thankfuk we paid for the ins but absolutely ridiculous to try and charge us for poorly maintained vehicle.!

Rental truck was new and very nice was told to make sure the truck comes back clean and swept. Once starting to load the truck bed I realized someone didn't sweep out the bed it was full of broken glass

I don't know who's policy it is but if I drop off a van, with more fuel in it than I picked it up with, I shouldn't be getting charged $6 for going over on miles. I was supposed to be given an extra 20 miles anyways for changing the pick up location to one farther away from my storage unit.

The only issue we had was that the furniture pad covers we paid $10.00 for were not in the rental. This was upsetting since we had paid for them and then they were not there.

I reserved a 10 foot truck for $19.99. There were none on the lot so they gave me the next size and I got charged $29.99. This is unacceptable! I had NO need for a 15 foot truck hence why I rented a 10 foot truck!

Truck was smaller than I needed, but was offered a 15ft, making more trips and miles than was necessary!! The cost has really gone up so high making it unavailable for quite a few folks, why has these prices gone up so high? The engine light was on the entire time we had the truck....

I have used a U-Haul 15 ft. truck out of the Brooklin Motor Sports facility three times in the last few weeks and everything has gone as explained. The vehicles have been clean and operated as or better than expected. The sales person was polite, knowledgeable and efficient in setting up my rental; I had no surprises. All of the adjustments of under and over mileage were correct. I found the price to be fair and the service that U-Haul provides very helpful. I will use this facility again when the need presents itself.

I was very satisfied with my dealings with Brooklyn Motor Sports. If I would change anything it would be having a full tank of fuel to begin with so returning the vehicle would not result in me leaving more fuel than I started with. Also my bill was based on an estimated mileage and I used less mileage and was not compensated.

Driver's side rear tire kept loosing air. Had to add air four times in a 48 hour rental. Tire pressure light was on and I noticed it within the first mile. I turned around and went back to BMS, the rental business, a used car dealership, and was told they had no compressor and I'd have to go to a filling station. BMS contract writer was pretty much disinterested. At least check fluids and tires. Have more people at opening in am to write contracts to lessen the wait. GIVE A BILL AT RETURN SO CUSTOMER CAN VERIFY THE COST/PRICE.
