Mary B.mores steps should be taken to disinfect the truck and we should be informed what has been done. The steering wheel played alot; was not a safe feeling drive and the passenger mirror was broken. Back of truck not very clean. Woman who checked us in was very pleasant.

LENORER S.The on-line booking system at u-haul was a horrible experience. I have rented many cars over the years from other companies and have always been able to easily book on-line. With u-haul, I had to call an office and ask them to input manually. I then received a notice that my pick-up location was changed (much farther from the 401 and out of my way). When I went to pick up my van that I had booked for a 24-hour period (11 to 11), I was told that the only thing available was a truck and it was due back the next morning at 8. That was totally impossible as I had booked the van for the 400 km trip and needed 24 hours. The staff at the Parker Street Location in Belleville were very helpful and found me a van at the Industrial Park site up near the 401. In every case, the staff were excellent and it seems to me they are stuck having to trouble-shoot and do "work-arounds" to compensate for a convoluted booking system. I was not on a strict deadline that day so could cope with the added driving and time lost. BUT if I had been on a deadline, I would have been in tears due to the frustration and stress of it all. Thank you to the staff at the the Douglas Rd, Parker St. and Industrial Road locations in Belleville. It cannot be easy dealing with such a system.
sandra C.I was not happy with the location because I reside in Brighton ontario and moving to another location in the Brighton area and there were 2 trucks located in Smithfield all day Friday and Saturday morning but I had to go all the way to belleville to pick up and drop off costing me extra kms and extra gas. I would appreciate a rebate for my extra kms and gas please.

Kim S.This location is good for an experienced renter - it wouldn't have been good for a newbie: they don't stock the regular UHaul accessories, I had to ask about checking the turn signals, etc. To their credit, their mechanic did recognize that the tow chain was worn through.

The lady from Parker made many mistakes on the reservation and Cannifton fixed them all up. What a blessing!

Bruce G.Don't let the traffic department rent out trucks that have already been rented to a customer by the dealer. I had reserved a 26" truck and ended up with a 20' truck and had to make two trips.
