This was my first experience with the paperless pick up process and some discussion on the part of the agent at this remote location would be helpful. I did like the the 'neighborhood' aspect of the remote U-Haul stations. Saved me $15 to $20 in mileage expense from my last experience with the dedicated central U-Haul store for pickup and return.Michael S.

The reservation was made online. The clerk/owner of the station was unable to find the reservation. She was very rude and insisted on making a new reservation. And insisted that I had not done the correct reservation process, and wouldn't take the confirmation number I was given. I was overcharged for a day that was not used and no adjustments have been made to the receipt.sara S.
The woman was impatient with me because im deaf. She had a litte bit of a tantrum showing frustration because I told her I was deaf. She kept talking to me and I guess she didn't understand what deafness means and continue to talk to me rather than writing it down.Albert N.
The service was awful. I reserved a truck from this location on accident and thought it would be fine because I have never had a problem with U-Haul before. The owner who was working the store told us she needed to do other things before she checked us in. As we all know, the trucks are due back at a certain time, she took 30 minutes to check us in. The truck was fine. Then we went to return it and there are no signs on where to park the trucks, so we parked next to another truck and the store employee who is now working, comes out and yells at us to move the truck. Then while checking out with this ray of sunshine, she asked me why I put in an incident report, I didn't file an incident report. She said it would take her a while to get the report off and that we were good to go. I asked if I would receive a receipt in my email and she said yes. I was charged later that day and the charge seemed high when I added everything, including price per mile my self and they never sent me a receipt. So I called and the man working said he didn't know who helped me so he didn't know what he could do.Jordynn W.

The truck was dirty inside and outside.... The gas tank wasn't full and the owner really didn't give a dam,,,,, when I told her about the truck being dirty she told me to clean it,,,, I told her I need it a check sheet so I can note the damages she stated that I have insurance don't worry about it,,,, I will never use this location and will advise all who will listen to not touch this place,,,,Shandan N.

The truck was in urgent need of front-end work, it should have never been rented out. U-haul needs to evaluate the equipment before sending it out. This truck was not in safe operating condition.JORGE N.
When I dropped of the uhaul trail there was no one there to help me take it off the truck I am a female and couldn't life that huge heavy trailer alone. The lady there told me to wait for a customer and to ask someone to help me take it off because she was to old to do it!!!! I had to call my husband who was 40 min away to drive there to help me lift the heavy trailer off the truck! She then had me take down the dolly and put it away for her! This was the worst experience I have ever had uhaul and this location i will never go back too or recommend it! If they can't help uhaul customers remove the trailers then they shouldn't be working there or even renting uhaul products! I very very dissatisfied!Sharna M.

Make sure the person who is dealing with uhaul customers is nice. The woman at this location was rude and very abrasive. Truck had no ramp and the gas level was lower than what was shown on the paperwork given to me.Keith B.

Good return experience, but I went about 4 miles over my 375 mile limit and the guy charged me another $1.93....on top of the almost $400 I paid UHAUL for the truck...what the hell man! Can you throw me a bone?Niall D.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Woman from location called 2 hours before our scheduled pick-up (I made reservation 8 days in advance for 15' truck) and said no trucks available. She was extremely rude and did not care that I had a confirmed reservation. She then said I could have a 10' truck but REFUSED to give me a price - said would tell me when I got there. I felt like this was a shake down! Called 800 #- after being on hold 20 minutes they told me I could go to another location which was further away or take the 10' truck. I asked what the point of making a reservation was and the reps response was "we can get you a truck, you just need to go to another location." Not really acceptable. The rep told me the price for the 10' truck and at pick-up woman was trying to charge $18 more. Will not use u-haul in future if they continue these types of practices. Very disappointed!Lawrence M.
I was quoted at 235 in my contract and got charged 272. I was over charged and when I mentioned it to the Pinetop location they said they couldn't do anything because it was a different owner. I GOT CHARGED AN EXTRA 40 BUCKS and am not happy about it.Austin S.

The rental location is part of a gas station. I'm sure the gas station is responsible for the conditions of the ground. There is a lot of trash located. However, the personal was friendly. The location is extremely convenient. The truck was as clean as be expected.Robert M.
The woman in charge at this location was rude and difficult. First, she told me that she didn't have the 10' truck available that we had reserved and prepaid. Then she said we didn't pay for it since she checked in the morning and there was no prepayment. Then, every time a customer came in, she stopped what we were doing and waited on them even though 2 other staff members stood by. Our online express check-in was in no way express. My insurance company said that the location would know whether Allstate was sufficient coverage for that particular truck. She didn't know anything about this, or anything else about the truck for that matter. I'll rent uhaul again, but not at this location.MARK P.

The location is a convenience store/gas station. My prepaid reservation was cancelled, by them in error and I spend about an hour calling u haul and the location to straighten it it out, the automated phone system disconnected me twice... When I got to a live person it was good. When I arrived their computer system was down and I had to wait for a phone call to have the truck dispatched. Would not recommend at all.Paul A.

Horrible customer service. They just kept telling us they knew nothing and they were just the middle man. Were not helpful, very rude and we ended up needing the truck an extra day. First she said $29.95 and when we returned the next day it was over $50.00. I would never, ever recommend this location to anyone. I told the lady that I did not sweep out the back of the Uhaul because the front was filthy with cigarette ashes, and behind the seats and the center console were filled with trash. She said "why wouldn''t you sweep it? Here is a broom, sweep it out or we will fine you $100 for having to do it. I explained the problem with the trash in the cab and she stated that it was my fault, and I should have refused the truck in the first place. I did not do that because we did not even open the center console to hold our drinks until we were outside of Rapid City! I have never been treated like this by Uhaul. This was the worst customer service we have ever received from uhaulTreva Z.

The owner could be friendlier or at least a walk-in customer. Needs to retrain the basics of how to serve a customer's needs. The store was colder than the outdoors. Also, the return trip was a huge misunderstanding with the evening worker. He had no clue about the process and I was almost charged for fuel because this was not written down by the owner at check out. The entire process needs improvement. Perhaps, a small meeting with everyone will get everyone in the same page. Thanks.Ruth S.
Incredible as it is, the U Haul website allowed me to return the truck to a store that DOES NOT EXIST!!!! Fortunately someone actually answered and had me move to the next location a gas station where the poor attendant was not skilled to add a new truck, so I wasted over 90 mins of my Xmas Eve day on U Haul incompetence, and district management support policies of who was at fault the pick up location or drop off. DO NOT RENT from a non U Haul site.Tom C.

There were spider webs on dollies, which were stored outside. I was careful when I handled the dolly for this reason. I found a black widow spider. This is a venomous spider and it poses a safety concern.Sam A.
I picked up the uhaul at thornydale and Mcgee (Tucson az) the owner or clerk of gas station was very rude and made the experience very uncomfortable... what ever type of third party helper they are looks very bad on uhaul ... You would be smart to take your business elsewhere...blair P.

I don't think I was told about how much it was going to be per mile. I knew that there was a mileage charge. I really thought it was .29 cent a mile. So I was very surprised what the total came out to. Maybe let your customers know up front how much it is per mile. But I pleased with the truck. Can't beat the new car smell.Daniel P.

The pick-up was easy. I was able to drop in without a reservation and get the truck I wanted...lucky I guess. The drop of was especially easy as I was able to fill the tank there and the attendant took the keys and said he'd take care of the paperwork and send a receipt. The process I thought would take 15 minutes took 2 mins.Bryan R.
