The associate that handles the uhaul transaction had to be called before I could get the truck. The truck REEKED of cigarettes even though there is clearly a no smoking sticker on both doors and I am very allergic. I was supposed to pick the unit up in Lampasas, where I had made plans to do so by renting a place within walking distance but since due to Uhaul changing my pick up point, I had to make plans and get a ride to Kempner to get the truck. ( I rode up from the Houston area with a friend since I would be driving the truck 1 way and did not bring my own vehicle) A LOT of planning went into the move for this weekend and U Haul made it VERY inconvenient for me, and the Truck was 16 feet long plus the Moms attic so now I have to come back on ANOTHER weekend to get the remainder of my belongings, I will NOT be using U haul for that trip.

The driver seat was worn through to the metal frame on the right side so it was completely uncomfortable to drive. Also, the oil light had come on midway through a 1400 mile trip. When we had received the truck it was supposed to be mostly contactless and easy, but we had to wait nearly an hour for the three dollys we had also rented WITH the truck to be put in the truck.

Keep being you. Professional, prepared with option, clean and dynamic location. My best moving experience. I've been a UHaul customer since...1993. Trucks, equipment, blankets, storage, boxes... UHaul makes the move smooth.

Very unprofessional. Continuously used foul language, and used a racial slur. This is the first bad experience I've had with U-haul. I would recommend someone visiting this location to see the environment.

Customer service and consideration is POOR. UHaul customers play a waiting game while store buys get priority at the register. I will not go there again, I will drive an extra 15 miles for good UHaul service.

Facility was open but staff on duty not trained or otherwise able to accept return of trailer. Had to wait for another employee to arrive on scene. While waiting, i unhitched and parked the trailer in the storage space myself. Even with all of the files digitized and completed on his phone, the whole process took longer than it did in the old days when everything was hand written on paper.

They had computer issues, which kept me waiting for over 45 minutes. They had newer looking car haulers right outside their front door but took me 100 meters down a hill to get a much older hauler. Once I got the trailer, I was driving down the highway and when I tried to stop the tailer started bumping like the brakes were locking up. I went back to exchange it and again computer issues. This time they couldn't change the trailer number in the system. Again a long wait, and finally they told me to take the trailer but not to worry about the number change in the system. They said they would take care of it when the computer started working again. Of course when I went to drop the trailer the system still had the original trailer number, which meant another delay.

Make sure your vehicles front end alignments are maintained. Having to battle a truck in 30 mph gusts of wind for 1300 miles because the front end is not properly aligned is not fun.

First off, I had a reservation at the lampasas location, asked about it in person a few day prior to make sure everything is set. The day prior to pick up, i got a text stating my reservation is set. I went to pick the equipment and i was told they had none on hand. I was set up with another rental place and drove 13 miles away only to be served by someone that was way too slow for me... there was a line forming behing me. Anyway, the equipment had light issues and the clerk said "just tap it and it will come on" i took the equipment only cause the lights came on and i was wasting time. During our journey north, the light kept going off. Hit a bump and it would come on... one of the ratchet kept coming loose. We had to pull over numerous times to tighten the straps. I suggest someone from an outside source look into the maintenance and care of the equipment. Additionally, ensure that equipment is readily available before reservations are created. I told the receiving end about the issues and i hope they fix the issues before it gets rented out.
