Very difficult time with smart phone pickup. Did not work. Fortunately, the owner of the business was early and did most all of the pickup info again to release the lock box. Was happy with the business owner, not with U-Haul smart phone pickup.Robert G.

U-Haul told me where to go to pick up the trailer so I just looked up Cool Waters & Spa, but I noticed other websites people commenting on how they could not find the location because there was no sign for u-haul. I'm sure it's because they didn't listen and follow instructions, but maybe a sign would help. To us it was completely easy to find and the lady who greeted us was very lovely and great to work with. I was sent to return the truck to this partner location on a day that it was NOT open for business (Monday) in spite of there being an actual U-haul site less than three miles away. Though we arrived at the site prior to the time we were supposed to return the truck, we did not expect it to be closed. By the time we followed the location's "after hours" drop off instructions --including putting all additional equipment into the cab, since we had no padlock for the cargo area-- and had to use the mobile app to "return the vehicle" (no available wifi and spotty cellular coverage for location confirmation and uploading multiple photos) the time stamp was 11 minutes after the time the vehicle was supposed to be back, resulting in my being erroneously billed for an extra day. There was no reason for this as a U-haul retail location open 7 days a week was just 3 miles up the road.Melissa V.
Location is not Marked as a U-Haul location. It is a pool store which left us very confused and unable to find a location initially. We waited nearly 45 minutes while the staff there had trouble with the computer program which turns out was user error. Despite their best efforts they have very little computer skills and we actually had to help them with the program.Cindy L.

Original reservation was for a pick up at uhaul on rt 57 in the Seneca Mall plaza, received an email a few days before pick up from uhaul/ Cool waters that our reservation was changed to pick up the van at Cool waters in solvay, multiple emails and phones with this location. Went to that location only to find out that it was closed and no trucks were there. Called uhaul AGAIN and they told us the location for pick up was actually about a mile from our house, so we drove another 25 mins out of our way to pick up this van. Once we got to this new location, the lady couldn't access her uhaul webpage and had to call it in over the phone. The whole process was awful and an inconvenience and I would not recommend it to a friend.Meagan G.

Failed to hook up safety chains to car on auto hauler. Rear end of car shifted on trailer during transport. Very, very hard to remove car at destination.James K.
The trailer wasn't ready at promised time. This was not the fault of the location but rather the silly U-Haul reservation system that allows you to schedule a picking assuming that the previous costumer will return it on time. The pick up location it self was great.Piotr S.

I did the online check in to save time. When I arrived, I waited 50 minutes for a truck. I had a one way rental. Someone rented that for an additional 5 days despite the fact that I booked it. I had to take a local truck round trip. Pick up location attendants were pleasant, but fairly clueless about the Uhaul operations. Very disappointed.

Better Gas Mileage when the truck is unloaded. There was a button to push, I was never sure which setting was the better mileage setting. I drove 27 miles and paid $27.00 miles fee, plus $15.00 for gas @ $2.65 per gal. 5 miles per gallon for that small truck is surprisingly poor.Gary W.

The location was convenient to my house/moving location. The renting process was easy enough. The people were very nice at Cool Waters but the truck itself was left very dirty from the previous user.Nicholas S.
It should not be a nightmare trying to rent a trailer for 24 hours. It should not require 1.5 hours of time waiting for them to sort things out. I will never rent from you guys again without everything, every i dotted, every charge noted. Thank God I had a hand written receipt! Thank you Jesus because your representative on the phone through out at least 5 different false figures. Horrible experience vastly overcharged, couldn't find my reservation even though they had called ME to confirm????? I get it, minimum wage, nobody wants to work, gotta take what you can, but are you actually recruiting them from a mentally retarded group home?Douglas M.

The computer system changed my pick up location and time to this spot. First the website took us to the business owners home, then they could not get in to the program, I never got a contract because they could not tell I had paid. They let me take it. But hour and 15 minutes to pick up is to long!Barb D.

Confusion from U-Haul on pick-up location. Mis-information provided by pick-up agent as to when return was required. He told me I had until Wednesday, however, the drop-off agent called me to tell me it was due on Tuesday and I would be charged for an extra day. I would have picked up the trailer one day later, had I been given the correct information in the first place.William S.
