(1) Make sure the truck is cleaned out in the back. (It was filthy) (2) Make sure someone is there to assist you. (We had to look for someone at this location and honk our horn and etc.) (3) Make sure they have ALL the equipment you have purchased at that location. (Our location didn't have the pads we purchased for use) (4) Online reservation needs to be better. (When we finally found someone to assist us, they had no clue what was going on... neither did the lady on the phone with uhaul) We move every 3 years and use uhaul. I hadn't done the pickup by phone and didn't know what to do. The guy at this tire changing place had no clue. When I called to get help it was a 20 minute hold.sherry H.
Area of town not the best. We were concerned about the surroundings and the thing that some of the people that were on site and around site, the day of turn. It was not a place I would send my wife and kids to pick up anything.Gilbert D.

This location is very unprofessional stay away. My reservation was switched to pickup my truck from here. Hand truck was not with my truck which I did reserve ahead of time, the man had no idea what was going on, comprehend was altered and when truck was returned after 500 pm he was under the influence and offering to my young adult children.Vanessa R.
Customer service representative took 40 minutes to service me as he stood and talked to a friend of his. Billed me for things I flatout declined then refused to answer my phone calls once mistake was noticed by me. Would never use this location or recommend him to anyone the one representative their name Anthony did go out of his way to resolve my issue but also informed me that he worked for the other gentleman who ran the business. Had to wait for truck to have a battery put in because I guess they don't rent to many out. Then noticed that a hook on the car Dollie was broken so had to run up to another U-Haul location to have it changed out. And with them putting a battery in they didn't tighten it completely so had to call roadside with in 20 min from picking it up.Donna M.

Nick's Self Storage in North Augusta should also be on here. Apparently anyone can be a UHAUL dealer. I arrived at my scheduled self service time of 8am. Couldn't find the keys using the app. We came back at 9:30 when this location opened. The rep couldn't help us and told us we should call the 1-800#. Thanks a lot. The rep on the 1-800# did find us a truck and took $50 off the rental price. We then drove out to The Deluxe Car Care I location which was not only 20 minutes away but in the GHETTO. When we first arrived I thought we were witnessing a drug deal. The rep met us in the parking lot in his SUV wearing a wife beater and flip flops. His "internet wasn't working" so he called the 1-800 # about 20 minutes later they confirmed the pick up. The guy was very nice but incredibly unprofessional. We requested a 15 ft truck and ended up with a 26 ft truck. The inside of the cab smelled like marijuana. The tank was 3/4 of the way full not 7/8. It got max about 5 miles per gallon. I had to pay my movers for an additional 3 hours. It would have been cheaper to use 2 Men & A Truck, I wouldn't have had to lift a finger and I could have saved half my day. Not impressed AT ALL with UHAUL. Will not recommend to anyone.Rebecca P.

I came to Vinson Harris with an issue of course there were remaining charges for my uhaul which were false and I have proof that would support that and yet even though I told many reps about this no one called me back no one asked me for this proof. Vinson gave me a refund of 114 when the charges were saying I owed 168 I did not request a refund I simply asked to get rid of those remaining charges on acct. That caused another issued today I woke up I wasn't charged 168 but I was charged 196 and of course that was alarming and frustrating after constantly having to call and never receiving a call back. Now I am getting my refund for the amount that clearly shouldn't have been taken but I'm still not satisfied with all of this poor customer service and I don't blame it on any of the reps I spoke with just the manager Vinson who I reached out to for the drop off location. Not to mention when I dropped off the uhaul during business hours I waited an hour for a cab and still no one came out to speak with me about the truck. Honestly I don't think anyone was there. This manager did not address my issues properly and although I do get my money back I'm still very very dissatisfied. I will not be using this service again due to this one person who could have resolved my issue and did not reach out to me or even ask for the proof that I had. For anyone else to avoid this I would make sure u avoid dropping off at deans bridge Pkwy which if I was familiar with the area I probably wouldn't have also avoid dropping equipment off without a representative looking at it with you there.mya M.
I filled the tank above the 1/2 mark and returned truck at 12:30. The guys took the keys and said we got it from here. Never saw him check the truck in. I received a call later and they said I owe $76.34 since the truck was turned in at 2:20 and below 1/2 tank. This was not correct! I believe the guys at the return point ripped me off. They did not check the truck in when it arrived. We left the gas tank as we found it at 1/2 tank. I should not have to pay any additional payment. Please contact me concerning this issue. I was quoted a rental rate of $29 with .69 per mile. I was not given a contract but was given an estimate of $97.65. Mt final invoice showed a rental rate at $39 and $.99 per mile. Final bill was $71.28 but I was charged $97.69, the original estimate. I am very displeased with the service and overall experience.DEBRA H.

Poor customer service, has nothing for equipment needed to do the job,dogs on a short leash behind the tire shop,Marijuana smell, had no computer or internet so call was made to corporate over a cell phone,they were not dressed as a salesman should(sweats,tshirt,gold teeth, and looked to be under the influence of marijuana),it took the man who rented me the uhaul almost 40 minutes juat to come outside his home in the trailer park behind the shop,truck only had half tank fuel, uhaul stunk like fecal matter and cigarettes,THE MOST UN-COMFORTABLE RIDE I HAVE HAD TO DO FOR OVER 960 MILES, the trucks transmission would bang loud and hard when it shifted into overdrive which i couldnt turn off the entire ride, if we had the option to go back in time and chose to go to ryder or penske i would in a flash.nethanal M.

When I placed the order I was told I was getting a 10ft truck like I ordered. when I picked up the truck it was at a different location in augusta ga (Deans Bridge rd not Wrightsboro rd) and it was a 15ft truck not a 10ft. I was charged for a 15ft! there is no way in Hades that I drove over 50 extra mile either...I was never shown a contract with the mileage on it I was just handed the keys so I did not think to write them down for myself!JEFF B.

This location is very poorly maintained and the staff does not know what they are doing. The truck cab was dirty and smelled. It took 30 minutes to get the truck even though I had completed the express check in online. I did not receive any paperwork/contracts.Courtney D.

When I arrived at the time that was email to me, there was not an employee that knew how to handle the rental. The printer was not working and I did not receive a receipt. Facility is not safe and inviting in appearance. We really questioned whether we were at the correct location.Tracy H.
