KEVIN PI had wanted to pick up a 5X8 trailer in Winnipeg but was told that there were no trailers available in Manitoba of this size. The closest sites available were Kenora Ontario or Warroad Minnesota. It would have been helpful to know this sooner than one day in advance. I guess this is the U-Haul system. Both alternate sites were 2 hours plus from my requested location. At the end of the day all worked out.

Timothy BSelf-service dropoff of trailer to a lot where the trailers were parked. It would be an improvement if there was more than one individual at the site that could handle U-haul rentals and returns. No problems with the return. I would use them again.

LUIS JI originally reserved a trailer in Warroad, MN. U-HAUL (not me cancelled that reservation and indicated I could pick up a trailer in International Falls and then just drop it in Warroad. That would have been fine but the cost for a local rental (pick up in Warroad and Return to Warroad) was $50 including insurance. The cost for renting in International Falls and returning to Warroad was $100. When I mentioned this to the U-Haul manager in Warroad, he indicated he would speak with the U-Haul district manager to see if they could adjust the rate. He suggested this completely on his own. Certainly went above and beyond my expectations. I would not hesitate to recommend the Warroad U-Haul to anyone!!!
David DThat even if a place is closed that you can call the number and drop the trailer off at the location. I waited until a few days later because I thought the place had to be open to drop it off

Eric BTruck had missing skirting from previous accident and I brought that truck back to the new location with the exact gas it had in it and they still charged me for 8 gallons of gas. Unreal!
Wyatt WMike in Warroad was very accomodating and followed through on what he said he was going to do. I had know issues. I would recommend Mike.

Patricia DAfter-hours drop off was clearly labeled, with understandable rules posted beside the drop-box. I was not able to find an option on the website to "check-in" the truck, but it seems from the emailed final receipt that everything is in order.
Christine C12 hours before I was to pick up the trailer, U-Haul called me to say the equipment I had reserved for more than six weeks was not available at the Roseau location on my reservation. This was very disconcerting. Option to meet my requirements were not very good as I had to drive to a new location to pick up a trailer that would work. While the U-Haul caller did provide an alternate and reduce the cost a little bit, I found that the short notice of U-Haul to tell me that the trailer which I would depend upon was not available. Given the lead time of the reservation, U-Haul should have provided better response. I received excellent support from the two locations but was disappointed in the support from scheduling.

April TWarroad U-Haul is a great place to rent a U-Haul. Everything went smooth. Roseau U-Haul not so good. The guy there is an idiot. Gave him 2 weeks notice for renting a U-Haul and he said everything was good to go. The day before, U-Haul corporate from Fargo calls me and says that a the U-Haul is not available to rent anymore. Even though I reserved it with my credit card. WTF. They said I could go to Bagley or cavalier to pick up the U-Haul. 100 miles in the opposite direction. I told them to go and pick it up that I didn't have time to do that on such SHORT notice. They said that they don't do that. So to make a long story short. I canceled that order and called Warroad U-Haul and rented a smaller U-Haul and pulled my trailer behind it. Warroad U-Haul was VERY good but never again will I ever consider Roseau U-Haul.
Dale ATrailer has damage that got a lot of the items inside wet.
