I rented a truck for Habitat for Humanity of Ontario County and when we returned the truck no one was able to process our payment without sales tax even though we had a tax exempt form. We were told we had to do this through a corporate account. We do not have to rent a truck often enough to set up a corporate account so it was disappointing that you couldn't accommodate our request at the counter.John H.

Mostly not happy with U-haul as I had to drive an extra 25 miles to pick up truck from Purceville location.. was told gas was 5/8 tank and then was charged $7.50 for gas at this return place even though I drove extra 25 miles to bring truck to my house originally and still returned with 5/8 tank. ... should have given me a rebate!!!Donald D.

I'm very disappointed over all about my experience with Uhaul. I ordered a enclosed trailer online a week before I was supposed to pick it up & never got any call or email with the info as to where to pick it up. I had to call several times to finally find out where to pick it up, after driving 16 hrs. It was very disappointing had I got the run around as to how to pick up the trailer. When I got home & tried to drop it off at a local Uhaul dealer (where it was supposed to be dropped off) I was told that I would have to pay $500 because I was supposed to drop it off there. I was then told that would get a call in 3 days to find out what Uhaul will do & as of now (5 days) I still haven't heard anything.Denise M.

Without a crank swing-down trailer wheel on the 6x12 trailer, and no one at the drop-off location due to the late hour, I had to use the truck's jack to raise the trailer tongue off the hitch ball. The trailer should have a wheel on the tongue. The automatic brake system on the trailer was very helpful.Joseph L.

I appreciated the self-checkout but maybe list the information/photos needed to complete. I kept running back to the truck from my car to take another photo and having to open the back to take a photo was more than I could physically do (after having moved all morning). It was a bit much and I think entering the mileage should be sufficient. The U-Haul rep can verify mileage and check the back for return condition.Mary Lou G.

Convenient location, older truck but worked fine for moving Not a reflection of truck rental but feedback for those using Reliable Movers- very disappointed with Reliable Moving service. They broke a piece of furniture and have assumed no responsibility. Poor communication between movers, supervisor and customer ie customer explained a heavy entertainment unit included in move, was assured that the movers would be prepared . Upon arrival movers were not aware of heavy piece and had no straps to assist in moving Have used 3 other movers obtained through Uhaul have been extremely pleased with professional manner and efficient, careful packing/unpacking of belongings.THERESA B.

The trailer I rented had left over branches and twigs from the last person who used it. There are clear signs will be charged for cleaning out clearly this did not get cleaned out by the facility. Also I waited almost 35 minutes before I was even helped!Jerred W.

The dolly we requested was not there when we picked it up. U-Haul billed us for this and we had to call several times to have this item deducted. We were still billed for it and had to call U-Haul back AGAIN to be reimbursed. We also requested a 15-foot truck and were downgraded to a 10-foot truck, but this was also not reflected in the final bill.Jason C.

The instructions for picking up the truck said to logon to their web site and sign in. Their web site did not have a sign in feature. I finally called u-haul directly and after a 10-minute hold was able to receive instructions to pick up the truck. Otherwise we would have been unable to perform our move.Ronald N.
