When vehical is moving it is making lot of sounds, and it is fuel consumption is pretty high. For arround 30km, I filled in about 8 liters of petrolHARSHA Y.

The location is a fraud. They charged me for fuel even when I returned the vehicle after I got it refuelled. I even have a picture of the fuel meter amd fuel receipts to prove it but the lady wouldn't listen. She clearly lied about the fuel level on my return receipt since it was an after hour drop and when I called to let her know she said I need to go meet her at the location to show her the picture. How stupid can that be? Who'd travel 10 kms to fight for $10 extra she charged me. But overall, she didn't bother to see the proof over email, whatsapp or any where else. Just keep saying â€œwe are business, we don't lieâ€. Really?ABHISHEK K.

This was my first ever booking a u-haul truck and unfortunately this will be the last one! I booked a 10 foot truck and with less than 24hrs of my pickup time, an agent calls me and tells that the truck is not available at my pickup location(Montreal). Can you imagine the stress and trauma me and my family went through when we got this shocking, unpleasant, unprofessional, unfair surprise? We were moving out of province and our house rental lease was ending the next day, we had to vacate the house and hand over the keys to the new tenant and there isn't the truck which we booked for the move! The agent informs me that there is a truck available at a location(Thetford Mines) which is around 250kms away from my home and He will give $122 off and extra mileage so I just have to pay $100 for the truck. He also rudely says that it is what we have and if you don't want, I will cancel the booking and you can check with other company. I asked him to give me few minutes to think and decide as I don't have a car to drive all the way to Thethford Mines and it is not well connected with public transport. While I try to figure out things the agent says that there are others who are waiting and requests me to call back and disconnects the call. As soon as he disconnected the call I get an email saying that my reservation is cancelled! This is seriously unprofessional! I try to call back and I was on waiting list for 40mins. before getting connected back to the agent. He asks me to take Uber and go to Thethford Mines to collect the truck. I check Uber and it gave an estimate of $260! I decide to take Uber and go to collect the truck at Thetford Mines and the agent says that the 10foot truck is not available now! I was shattered by now. Then he checks his system and says he can give me 15foot truck. He also tells me not to worry, price will be the same as 10foot truck and he will include the extra mileage as well. I double check if this truck is guaranteed and I don't want any surprise tomorrow after traveling 250kms to Thethford Mines tomorrow. He says that the truck is guaranteed. We agree and end the call. I get a confirmation of the reservation with totally different price, $253! I try to call back to sort this, was transferred thrice during 90mins of waiting patiently on the line and the call gets disconnected. I am knackered by now! Next day, I take off from my work(which means I don't get paid for that day)to pick up the truck at Thetford Mines, took an Uber spending $262. There I was charged $382 at the u-haul office for the truck. I didn't even speak a word. I didn't want to waste my time and energy speaking to such hopeless and pathetic service providing company like u-haul as I was already fed up. I just collected the truck and drove to Montreal. Had to spend another $60 extra for fuel! All in all ended up spending $865 for a truck which I initially booked for $222. Thanks U-haul for the unforgettable experience and all mentally harassment you gave in short period of time with the very first booking of mine. Certainly this will be my last bookings! I was not told that there is a charge per distance and that she said its 24 hour so I said maybe I will return it before 10pm and then I receive an email that it will be return at 8pm. I arrived before 8pm. And so my charges suddenly had gone up. I did not checked it because she said she will just email my receipt, thats when I noticed my charges. I called her but Im not satisfied with her explanation, I cant understand. I remember a couple of years ago I was not charge per distance. I did the gas full too. Anyways its done but Im not going back in there anymore.DENNISCARREON G.

Update the bugs/ delays/ glitches in the mobile app. I tried accessing my truck in the morning and it took around an hour to process which pushed back my entire schedule. We had to call the Uhaul number and after being on hold for 20 minutes the operator hung up on me. Tip. Use the web broswer not the app until fixed.. Would not recommend, unreliable. On top of that there was a hatchback parked perpendicular to the 10 ft truck, which was stressful to pull out of the 1 exit parking lot.jen S.

Dolly I requested online was not available at the location and has never been available there as per the clerk's comment, the bookings system should reflect the actual stock on each location.
