The check out process was terrible. I was told I had to do it online myself. No internet connection made it impossible to do so. After45 minutes I finally begged them to make it happen. Supppsedly I would be charged $20 extra if they had to do it. I rent 10-15 trucks every year for the last twenty. Never ran into this before.

This was the third location I was sent to pick up my truck. The prior two gave my vehicle away and left me without a moving vehicle. I was NOT happy with my overall U Haul experience.

The 24/7 was setup incorrectly so it could not be used. I had requested a dolly and the dolly was not with the truck. The store owner sent me to another location and told me that they would have a dolly for me. The second location was another 15 minutes further away, after arriving they were not expecting me at all and not aware of the situation. They had a dolly but it had to be returned back to the store. I was moving several states away and this was not possible. I ended up having to purchase a dolly from a local store for a single use. Also the fuel level reported was incorrect. This caused me some extra difficulty at drop off because the fuel level in the contract did not match the fuel level of the truck. Thankfully I had taken a picture of the fuel at pickup and was able to prove my case. The owner also told me that any damage to the truck would be noted with sticker. This was not the case either, no damage had been marked on the truck and there was damage present. This was a terrible experience and has made me not want to use uhaul in the future. I would never recommend this location to anyone.

over 2 weeks ago I reserved my truck at a UHaul Store location near Hoover , 22 miles away and next to my house. The day before I am to move I get an email saying to pickup in Irondale 22 miles away. This is absolute insanity. What do you think?

Equipment was not available on time and it was not cleaned per Covid 19 statement on UHaul . Terrible experience... worst UHaul pickup ever.
