Easy to book and pick up. I rented a truck with a 8 ft box. Only complaint is that I got the text to "assess damages" like cracked windshield and such after I started driving. Once I got home 20 min later the link no longer worked. Didn't cause issues in return since I took some pictures before I drove off with it. I would rent again.Carl M.

There must be a place where I can add photos the van was a disgusting dirty it looked as if someone puked in the back of the van it had to be cleaned and cardboard laid on the floor it said if we bring it back dirty it was a 25.00 fee I spent the money to wash it outside and cleaned inside where is my 25.00 dollar fee have someone phone me to get the pictures and a reimbursement you have my infoTimothy S.

Ordered a 10ft U-Haul with a dolly and was charged for both when I pre-ordered online for the Calmar location. Received a call shortly after, advising that location didn't have any 10ft trucks, so they'd upgrade me to 15ft free of charge but I would have to go to one of the Leduc locations. When I went to pick up the U-Haul today, I was informed they didn't have a dolly... And there was no 15ft in sight... Service wasn't overly friendly either... Wouldn't go back to this location if given the choice.Sarina T.
The unit we had was clean and well maintained but did have an odder in the cab that made it a little uncomfortable...A pine tree car freshener would help. I would definitely use UHaul again for my moving needs...Wayne K.
We had originally wanted to book a 15 but were told none were available. So we then booked a 10-footer since nothing was available. Then someone call and said yes you can now get a 15-footer in Leduc at the Southfork location. On arrival there was no 15-foot there. Then it took the clerk about 35 minutes to change everything over to the 10-footer. It was ridiculous the amount of time and then he kept taking my cell phone to look at the emails that we received. I am thinking what the heck "he should not be touching my phone" and this happened several times. Then because the truck was alot smaller than we were told we were getting we had to make two trips. I do not think we should have been charge for all the kilometers because of your company mistake. If we had the truck, we were told we were getting our move would have been alot faster and not as many kilometers. I think we should be compensated for the incredible amount of time it took the clerk and for the extra kilometer charges. I would not recommend anyone to rent a u haul if this is what they have to go through. |Also, there was only a 1/4 of a tank of gas. We picked it up at a gas station, should it not have been filled up? We took it back with more gas than we picked it up with as well. Did we get compensated for that...NO we did not. They tried to get us to drop off the truck at a different location which would have cost me a lot of money. Thankfully the uhaul dealer at that location caught it. The mileage and gas did not match the contract which would also have cost me. Luckily we had taken pictures. When we returned the truck the young man was rude. When we were explaining the situation to him he was very impolite and kept making us wait while he served other customers. I asked him to please finish serving us and at one point he swore at us. Leduc location has ZERO customer service. UHaul rented out my van before I could get there. The delay was caused by UHaul. The Leduc location has NO interest or motivation to help me find a vehicle at another dealer.Andre T.

The truck was full of drywall in back. Spent an hour cleaning before I could even start loading it. The truck check up would not allow me to upload pictures truck had scratches everywhere. When I called the leduc pick up store I told them about the issue and asked if they even checked the trucks because of the terrible mess in the truck and the guy hung up on me. My only "complaint" was that the windshield could have been cleaned better prior to my rental..lots of bug splatter. Ran out of ww fluid early on (11 day booking of the van). Made sure to inform them upon return. The next renter took it right after me and they provided the fluid for him. Nice new vehicle. Served the purpose well. The receipt doesnt match the confirmed reservation rate. I reserved the rate of $0.99/per kilometers. I've used, 321.40 MI which is 517.24 km for the whole trip after drop off. 517.24 x $0.99 = $512.0676 + $3(Envi Fee) + $32.44(GST) TOTAL = $547.07 They charged me $681.32 with $134.25 difference.Cris F.

The two people I dealt with were not easy to deal with the first person that checked out the vehicle gave me different rates and didn't explain the return policy correctly, the second person that checked the unit and was not going to honour the rental agreement and argued that it was done incorrectly.CHRIS D.

In the morning and the older Sikh gentleman were incredibly friendly and helpful! Huge improvement of Uhaul experience compared to the previous location!!! I rented it this location before without any issues. However when I reserved online I also reserved an appliance dolly. When I got to the location I was told there wasn't one available and the clerk seemed annoyed with me that I wasn't happy. I think if they are not going to provide appliance dollies, you should not be able to reserve it online. Made my day much more difficult as I had to drive around and find a place to rent one. The truck was in good shape but it wasn't very clean and the interior reeked of cigarettes.Dave M.

Booked a 10' truck this morning and reserved it for a 5:15 pick. Arrived at the location and told I had not reservation and that there were no trucks available. My online contract was for about $40.00. I was offered a van for for $110.00. I needed transportation urgently so I was forced to take the van at double the price. The EMPLOYEE THAT WORKS BEHIND THE COUNTER SHOULD HAVE FULL KNOWLEDGE OF WHAT ALL MEANS OF PAYMENT. AND VOICE THAT TO THE CUSTOMER ASAP. WEN BOOKING THE TRUCK THE CUSTOMER SHOULD BE GIVEN ALL DETAILS OF HOW PAYMENT CAN BE EXCEPTED. FOR EXAMPLE WE ALSO EXCEPT CASH WEN PICKING UP YOUR UNIT. MILAGE ON THE UNIT AND CORRECT TRUCK N KEY N TAG NO. FOUND AND CHECKED BY SECOND EMPLOYEE OR MANAGER AT PICK UP LOCATION. EMPLOYEES SHOULD NO WHERE THE UNITS ARE PARKED N MILAGE ON SAID UNIT N ENTERED INTO COMPUTER AHEAD OF TIME IF POSSIBLE.. I REALIZE THIS MAY BE OLD SCHOOL MENTALITY, IN THE DAYS WEN THINGS WERE ALL DONE THE NITE BEFORE.EXTRA EMPLOYEES WERE HIRED TO HELP OUT IF NEEDED. CASH TILLS DIDNT TIME OUT EXACTLY AT CLOSING TIME OR 5 MINUTES BEFORE. AND EMPLOYEES HAD TO RUN OUT OF THE STORE BEFORE THE DOORS LOCKED AUTOMATICALLY. When I first picked up the uhaul, I noticed there was a check Engine light on. When I called the employee told me that there wasn't anything I could do unless I broke down, and that I could get a new one but I'd have to wait a few days. Though I couldn't wait a few days he reassured me it would be fine. The drive was far from fine. Engine light kept on, temperature gauge kept skyrocketing and then plummeting. & on top of that, it dangerously needs a wheel alignment. Driving to a new province was terrifying and I had no other option but to keep going as the phone number for the store/help kept having an automatic voice saying â€œgoodbyeâ€ and hanging up. $1300 to add 6hrs onto my trip because this thing was a death trap. You f-ing assholes sent the check to the wrong address, then came up with excuses as to why you couldn't fix YOUR mistake and just refund the fucking card I paid with!!!!
