I had difficulty opening the rear door to obtain the key. Once I retrieved the key I discovered the pads and utility dolly I requested were not in the truck. When I turned on the truck the dash panel displayed a low front tire pressure warning. I called U-Haul and they connected me to the local area manager. He directed me to the local corporate location. After waiting in line for 15-minutes they assisted me with my problems. The technicial inflated the tires and decided to check the wiper fluid levels. The fluid reservoir was empty. He filled it, cleaned the windshield, obtained the pads and dolly and I left the location. I began this process at 8:10 am. I returned to my mother's home at 10:15. If all had gone well I would have been at her home by 8:30. The problems caused a delay of nearly 2 hours which meant I arrived at my final destination in North Carolina at 11:30 pm instead of 9:30-10:00 pm. The delays made an already long day even longer. I was disappointed that U-Haul released a truck to a customer that was not ready in several aspects. The local area manager (Trent) was helpful in resolving my issues since the pickup location was off-site and not yet open for business. Overall it was a very stressful, maddening experience. The truck itself operated fine and we completed the trip without incident.David P.

There was no one there that could help me load the trailer and make sure it was contacted correctly. The girl behind the counter could not even bring up my information the trailer was dirty inside.Sophia D.
The truck was ready and clean however I also reserved a dolly and furniture pads and they were not provided. The UHaul 24/7 app pick up option was a bit pointless as this location doesn't have lock boxes so the truck was unlocked and the key was in the back of the truck. I didn't select this pick up location when I reserved the truck, uhaul changed my location so I had to drive 30 minutes out of my way to pick up the truck and then I surpassed the mileage limit because of this extra drive. Customer service at UHaul isn't very helpful since this is a neighborhood store, and the wait times to talk to someone were very long. Overall I don't recommend doing any business with Uhaul.Scott P.
