The location and truck were fine, but the online booking experience was TERRIBLE. I would not recommend this to anyone. Long cumbersome process and did not result in the rental. Resulted in over one hour delay until the in person facility opened to sort out the mess meanwhile paying movers to wait.Senta B.
6x12 Trailer RV 2526C needs 4 new Tires before it is put back on the road. During our rental we experienced 2 flat tires. Tires had little tread left on themâ€¦. Right rear tire took 3 plugs to fix and left rear tire took 2 plugs. Trailers need a more rigorous safety check for this issue.David C.
Picking up the vehicle in the rear right and having to park one's personal vehicle in the front left of a large mini-storage facility is beyond ridiculous for several reasons...mobility impairment, bad weather, timed (e.g. three hour rentals), to name a few. Decision of lovely staff member with whom I had been chatting was overruled by a somewhat sour superior who did not take the time to understand the situation before applying their position. Recommend using expansive property to provide better service for those renting driveable vehicles, by locating all aspects of the experience in closer proximity than they are currently (vehicle pick-up/personal vehicle parking/key-drop). The web interface is trash. It crashed several times while trying to upload the required pictures, and I overall the pickup took half an hour because of this and contacting the required references. This is something that could very easily be done before arrival, especially during booking. I would not recommend this location only because I would not recommend U-Haul until these process issues are addressed.Matthew M.

We did Bot have a great experience using the mobile pick up. We had difficulty with the technology snd long wait times to reach someone in customer service - first call we held for 23 minutes and were disconnected. We called back and were disconnected again so we typed our phone number into the message box for online help and received a call. The person who called was helpful.Serge F.
The odometer readout fir the start of my rental was discovered to be from the wrong vehicle when I returned! Soâ€¦. By paperwork alone I had less than no mileage! I estimated my mileage and paid for that,but I was not pleased Staff kept saying it wasn't my fault. I KNEW that! At no point did they concede it was their fault.Elizabeth H.
The staff person working here provided very helpful and courteous service. Thank you. Please find a way to speed up administration. I checked in on line. I shouldn't have to wait at the counter to confirm credit card and wait to meet a rep at the trailer. Please modernize this process. Charge my card and get a lock box with a code you can send me to get trailer key.Arup M.
two issues; the drop box was located way at the back of the facility so having a notice at the front entrance where the office is facing the street telling you the drop box is at the rear would have helped. Did not like that I had to pay $20 to drop off the vehicle after hours!! Was never told that and I find that is just gouging people. What is the purpose of online pickup and drop off then??? You promote it but then gouge $20 for it!! That part is brutal!EDWARDP B.

The only comment that have is that the facility is not open long enough 9-3. There is not another Uhaul location for at least 25km and if you work, it's impossible to get to this location by 3pm. As a rapidly growing community, this location would be better served by being open until 6 or 7 pm AND having a larger selection of vehicles to choose from.Diane W.

What I would not recommend is using u-haul online. They confirmed the reservation only to change it to a location much farther and useless to me. When I called to correct, we confirmed a location much closer to where I was going but only to have another reservation change to a location that did not make sense again. I ended up calling the local location and made my own arrangements; something I was told I shouldn't do the first time around.Jocelyn C.

The truck had steering issues and was all over the road. I was also shocked when I discovered a $500+ charge for mileage. Ottawa to Arnprior and back is a 40 minute drive. The price has put me into deep financial trouble.... a little warning on how your rates have jumped in price would have been nice.BRIANE L.

We ordered a 26' truck 2 weeks earlier for a one way long distance move, and the day before our move they decided to give us a 20' truck, which extremely ruined our move. They didn't even try to get us another 26'. I don't think we'll ever use u-haul again.Mark M.

We were told that the miliege would be $0.49, but when we got our bill they had charged us $0.59. We called to question the discrepancy and they said that its $0.59 on Mondays thru Thursdays. They said it was in the fine print on their website, which we could not find.Marlene G.

Was told truck had 1/2 tank of gas. Not true. Truck had around 1/3. I brought the truck back with very close to 1/2. I was charged an extra 13.50$ for gas . Not cool!Vince B.

Didn't appreciate picking up the rental with an empty tank. Truck has summer tires and we had a snow storm. Needless to say, the truck got stuck in the snow. Took us 45 minutes to get it out. Tires need to be changed to reflect Canadian winter road conditions.Francine F.

Ensure it is clear to people ordering trucks and trailers online that your pick up location can be moved to places that are 45 minutes away. Also, people shouldn't book movers at end location because uhaul can also change the time of your rental agreement (2 days before).Christina B.

My issue is not with the site or personnel but with the reservation process. I reserved a 6 X12 trailer but when I arrived they were all spoken for and could only get a 5 X 8. This caused issues with moving my King size mattress and 2 trips that would have been avoided with the larger trailer. So what started as a good experience ended with much frustration and additional fuel cost.Doug K.
This is a comment on UHaul overall. Before changing the reservation give enough time for customer to reconsider other options such as, size of truck and location. If I had to do this again I would not choose Uhaul. This is not to say that the service at this location in Kemptville was poor. If I had chosen or been advised of this location in the first place things may have turned out differently. So, thank you Kemptville Mini Storage.Mark W.
Cab of the truck was disgusting. For the money I'm paying I'd appreciate a spotless cab where I have to sit for hours. Had to clean cab myself (dusty dash, spilled pop and coffee) was gross. The truck and trailer performed well and the uhaul lady was polite. The on the phone uhaul reps are always extremely kind and that's what keeps me coming back.Taylor S.
The customer service was exceptionally uncooperative, wouldn't listen to what the problem was, very abrupt and not very understanding due to his refusal to listen. People like that creating unnecessary stress during this time does not help anyone. I will not recommend this location.Denny L.
