I requested to rent dollies and blankets. None of them were in my van. I raised the issue via the app. after hearing nothing for weeks i was charged, I did not get the equipment i requested. I should not have to pay for it it. I'm not complaining bout the location or the people there or the truck, I am complaining about Uhaul customer service not really following up my my claim. The equipment wasn't in the van when i picked it up and it wasn't in there when I returned it. I want to be refund for the dollies and the blankets.Mandi S.

The u-haul rental need to be retired. Very dirty and unsanitary. In need of a tune-up, wheel alignment, shocks. The worst u-haul I have ever rented.Irene P.

I had to search there entire warehouse and offices for someone. It was deserted, I finally had to call them to come help with the return. Didn't really feel safe as it was a dark maze.TRUDY C.

Had to call multiple times during business hours before anyone answered the phone. The man said no paperwork was necessary & he didn't even take my name and thus there was no record of returning the trailer. I had to find the dealer info to give to the main U-Haul office so I could be credited with returning the trailer.Tammy B.

The truck was parked outside as the site was closed. Couldn't get the app to work. 45 minutes later and numerous phone calls finally got the truck. Do not try and pick up a truck at a closed site.Karen W.

The people are very nice, however, I would have expected a clean van (inside and out). The inside was smelly, and the outside was dirty (I had to clean the windows inside and outside so that I would have a comfortable and safe ride during the 4 hour return trip).MUKTI P.

I scheduled 24/7 pick for 7 am. I arrived at 7 am and could not figure out how to do the online self checkout. I finally was able to contact an employee and informed her that I didn't think they set it up for 24/7 pickup. After sitting in the parking lot on and off the phone with people for 1 HOUR AND FORTY MINUTES!!!! She confirmed that they set it up wrong. Finally got a call back from the manager and his response was â€œoh, sorry about thatâ€. Ridiculous waste of my time and the time of my friends and family that were waiting for me to show up with a truck to help me move.Chris T.
The gas was stolen the night before I picked up the vehicle. The rental location asked that I put an additional $45 in the vehicle because it was empty and that they would provide me with a credit. I have a receipt for $56 within minutes of renting the Uhaul and my contract shows I only drove 22 miles. I have received no credit to date. What kind of business especially steals from their customers?David K.

Confusing drop off. Instruction say to place keys in a lock box. Spent 15 to 20 min looking for a lock box that doesn't exist. Called U-Haul and spent a long time on hold so decided to lock them in the truck. Inadequate instructions after a long day of moving were not appreciated.Ronald R.

The uhaul app did not work for checkout and wasted an hour of my moving time. When I called customer service which was repeatedly advertised as being available to help with any thing promptly, I was on hold for 45 minutes without any information if anyone was ever going to answer. This is ridiculous and embarrassing for your company, at least don't promise your going to provide support, it comes across less pathetic and although is still lacking is honest which I would have respected.Albert E.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE with the location on 2738 65th St Sacramento, CA 95817. We used the company's self-service to pick up our truck. We were emailed instructions on the truck number and location of the keys. When we arrived at 10pm, we successfully located the correct vehicle, however, the keys were not in the location indicated on the email instructions. We searched the whole truck-the front, the back, glove compartment, everywhere and after 30 mins of searching we gave up. We called their automated line and were on hold for 45mins before the line dropped leaving us with no options. We decided to leave and call in the morning to get the truck. My husband called their location and they confirmed that we could pick it up, only to get there and find out that they sold it to someone else. I spoke with the store manager, Carl, who was apathetic to our situation right from the start and even blamed me for not finding the keys. He interrupted me several times and told me to stop talking so he could talk-seriously that's how you treat people? We were scheduled to move that morning with a crew of people waiting on us and he could care less. He told us that we would have to drive to a different location way out of the way to pick up the truck. Didn't offer any sympathy, no apologies, nothing. I'm 7 months pregnant and the whole experience was stressful enough, UHAUL (or maybe just Carl and the 65th location) made our moving experience awful. Agent was hurrying me off, when I asked him to assist in checking brake lights he asked me to go ahead by myself. An impossible task in daytime by yourself. Asked if the truck could be cleaned, he just wiped off the windows. I would never rent from this location. Demanded additional contact to lease the equipment, I asked him to look up my extensive rental history. Was not enough for him.JOHN G.
First time customer - worst experience. The equipment was dirty, visible accident damage on passenger door, The attendant could not add another driver on the contract. This location did not even have a trolley. I had to wash the equipment at home since the window shield was so dirty that I could not see through. The rear driver side glass cover cracked with a hole. I have pictures. If I had another option, I would have cancelled the booking. I definitely need some monetary adjustments...please.Azhar K.

We have never been charged a cleaning fee in 5 years. There was some mud in the front cab and the back was spotless. We had rain and snow on Thursday so there was a little mud in the cab and we were charged $25.00 for cleaning. If someone would of told us when we dropped off the truck we could of taken care of this in less than 5 minutes. Instead I get the receipt 2 hours later. We will look for another option for our next eventsJerry H.
