Dollys and blankets weren't in the truck, and nobody was at the facility to help, so after calling customer service I had to drive a couple miles to get what I had reserved. This took added time in the already busy packing day. There was no consideration offered from uhaul other than additional miles added to allow me to pick up what should have been provided originally.

Truck was not staged at location as described in reservation confirmation received the night before pickup. Had to make 2 calls to find a truck a mere 1.5 miles away. And neither location was close to requested location so mileage was increased due to different location.

KATHRYN RWhen I went to pick up my uhaul, it would not start and I started smelling gasoline. I looked under the truck and gasoline was pouring out of the bottom of the truck onto the road below. Then I was changed and extra $20 for a different truck that was the same size. Awful experience.

WARREN DI showed up and there was no one there at the front desk, when i did take the truck he told me to go get it, it was not out front. There was a trailer that was leaning on it I have to pick that up and move it off of the truck. I will just go to an actual uhaul store next time.

Randolph HI reserved a truck at a location but two days before our job was told it was only available at a store 4miles further away. I was told the reservation would be for 8am, but the store didn't open till ten so I wasted a trip over there. The size truck I reserved wasn't available so I got a bigger truck which was less fuel efficient and oversized for the small alley I had to back into so the truck was partially blocking the drive way for parking garage. The servicing agent said there was 1/4 of a tank but when I started the truck it said the fuel was 0 miles to empty so I had to fill the truck up twice. U-haul sucks, they stick the entire check in process on an app so you basically have to do it all on your own instead of with a service agent, this whole experience sucked I would avoid using uhaul again and would tell others not to use them either.

Ralph PInside was dirty and we were scam charged for 48 miles when we only used 6. Obviously one of the employees there are using them for personal use or deliveries and passing those miles off to people renting then. It's bs and I will absolutely be fighting those charges. No return call from the guy after bringing it to his attention. Will call corporate tomorrow and then my bank. Won't be using this service again.
JANET EMy truck was not there in my reservation. I ordered a 15’ and furniture blankets and I got neither and got charged double what was estimated.
Zach SFirst: I was used to the other location on Highway 99 in Lynnwood, which has clear signage and process for picking up and dropping off the vehicle. It was not clear to me at NW Furniture where I was supposed to pickup the keys from or how to return the vehicle (I just guessed and it worked out). Second: The man that checked me in and gave me the keys was friendly, but unattentive when I first arrived for pickup and when I arrived for drop-off (I had to speak up several times and wave to be noticed). Third: There were a bunch of small black ants in the cargo van that I rented. I didn't notice them until we were loading the van and the black rubber mat near the back door got lifted, which is when I saw a bunch of them crawling around. I'm just glad that we were transporting sealed packages, rather than furniture or other indoor items, because the ants definitely got onto my purse and the floor in the front seat.
Lan VI reserved a 15 foot truck at a shoreline location and was told the day before my move that the only 15 foot truck available was in Blaine, WA, over an hour and a half away and instead had to get a 10 foot truck, which, predictably, did not have enough space for my stuff so I had to put the rest in storage. Super shitty experience. I will not be using U-Haul for my next move. Garbage experience. Garbage equipment. Garbage company.
Bryce FThere was no way for me to get the key until the store manager opened. Your website should have given me the code to the lock box and it did not. Lost a lot of time and customer service wait times were about 45 mins.
Warren TI went in person to reserve a truck at the location at 19130 SR-99, Lynnwood, WA 98036, on Thursday April 14, early in the afternoon in order to guarantee a reservation for an appointment with a narrow window on Saturday, April 16 at 1:00. I emphasized my only requirements were a smaller vehicle and a guarantee of availability. We decided on the vehicle (10 ft box type) and a pickup time of 11:00, I was clear that I would pick it up at any time that was most convenient to him but he said on Saturday it didn't matter because they were busy all day. When I arrived at 11:00 I was told they had no record of my phone number or name! When they asked if I had received a reservation number I replied I was told I just needed to arrive with my DL and credit card ( shame on me, never again!) and asked me to describe him but I couldn't. The only good thing was the guy helping me today was patient, courteous and understanding. Otherwise I probably would have gone off on him. He suggested I contact 1 800 U-HAUL. I thought that was a fool's errand but the young man who answered was also patient, courteous and understanding and to my utter amazement was able to quickly locate another truck (a van) at a nearby neighborhood dealer I wasn't even aware of! There too was a kind and patient man who quickly got me in the van there. Now granted, this was a pretty great ending, but believe me if I could definitely ID the a****** who screwed me over I would make it my life's mission to exact revenge! That guy was either TOTALLY inept or just plain mean! I am VERY unhappy about that! In any case kudos to the 3 guys I dealt with today and PLEASE try to figure out who the guy was from Thursday!
