ALONSO GHorrible service from reservation through pick up. Originally had reservation 23746305 that was confirmed on 12/4/23 at 606 pm for a 15' truck at the 2722 Kilihau St., Honolulu, HI 96819 location. The pick up was scheduled for 12/5/23 at 430 pm. I got a call from UHC of Hawaii Regional Traffic Office on 12/5/23 at 417 pm stating that my reservation was essentially not valid and there were no trucks available at 2722 Kilihau St. location. This is unacceptable as we have reserved trucks for the past 4 weeks straight with no issues of not having a truck for a confirmed reservation. The only available pick up for that afternoon was all the way in Halawa (Aiea) at Ocean Marine Services. This was not feasible as the place closed at 5 pm and getting notified at 417 pm during rush hour traffic is not acceptable. We are located in town in Iwilei area (850 Iwilei Rd, 96817), so there was no way we were going to make it in time. As a result, we asked if we could pick it up in the morning at the Ocean Marine Services. I asked UHC of Hawaii what time Ocean Marine Services opened and they said 8 am, so we changed the reservation to pick up a 15' truck at Ocean Marine Services on 12/6/23 at 8 am. We scheduled a person to pick it up at 8am. When they arrived at the location, the location was closed and the sign said it opened at 9 am. Once again unacceptable as this is time wasted getting there and now having to wait. We weren't notified until we got a voicemail at 812 am that they weren't opening until 9 am. Overall, horrible experience all around. When I asked UHC of Hawaii Regional Traffic office how it is possible that we have a confirmed reservation and did the online check, but we do not have a truck reserved for us at the location we reserved it at, I did not get a straight answer. The only answer is that I got was that my reservation didn't put me into a truck, which made it sound like my reservation wasn't truly a reservation. Will be looking at renting elsewhere as this was a huge disappointment and horribly run operation. This rental is for my business and we can't be wasting time with this kind of operation. This is unfortunate as we regularly need to rent a vehicle and this is a lot of frequent business loss for Uhaul.

Alisa BTried to do after hours drop off but the site kept kicking me off after I was in the process of taking pictures made start from the beginning did it to me multiple times so I gave up had to come in the morning to drop off the keys cost me time and gas. Work the bugs out for the online truck returns

RENEE MSuper fast the get you in and out ansewer all your questions. There equipment is always clean and full of gas. I like going here than the big ones where your just a person in line ....don't get me wronge both have great equipment and service, just I feel like I'm family at this location. Eric PI was charged for the dolly which I did not use. I told the person at the counter that I didn't need it. He said that I wouldnt be charged if the seal wasnt broken. Then, he was too busy to check us out. We used them before with no problem.

Vicki TI liked this location not just because it was near my house but because it had lots of room to maneuver the 15' van I rented. The street parking is actually great with no tiny parking lots to do a 1000 point k turn in and not much traffic on this street to get in the way. I'll rent from there again.

Very poor customer service, I was directed to a new location after some back and forth, They changed location and tried to change pick up time , this location was way out of my way. Very inconvenient and time consuming. Gotta do better on all fronts

Harrison HI was told to make sure I didn’t smoke in the van. As a non-smoker, I was not happy having to drive a rental van that it was obvious a smoker had used.
Thomas SWhen I picked up my vehicle the gas annotated did not match the gas that was shown by the speedometer. I spent $75 and returned the vehicle with more gas that it originally had. (Tank was on E)
