The all online element was extremely confusing. I'm 28 and seriously struggled to get the keys I can only imagine if I had let my 65 year old father rant the van for me like he offered. U haul is excellent I am a loyal customer but the new lock box system was not clearly laid out via email/ text notification

I was to pick this up in Hackensack and the truck was not there! I did not get even a phone call from Uhaul. Because I had scheduled movers by the hour this cost me $200 extra dollars.

Upon dropping off truck, we were given a name of the person to call regarding toll problem we had. A few states only had mail in ticket. No personnel at booths. My husband was met with demeaning attitude when he asked how to handle that dilemma. He just didn't know what he needed to do to pay it once we were back home. Would never pick up or drop off at that place again. That was terrible for him to be treated like that. Wasn't his fault that certain states do not have personnel at their toll booths

It was 3:30 pm when I returned the truck. There was no one at the desk and a worker toold me to drop the key in the box. I returned the truck a day earlier and I was charged extra fee fro dropping the key in the box which is unreasonable.

I dropped off the rental after hours (but on time). This location over charged me saying that I returned the truck late, when in fact I returned the truck 12 hours before the deadline. Now I am having to deal with an over charge and having them look at cameras to show that I returned the truck on time...something I think they should have done BEFORE over charging me.

Wasted almost an hour trying to figure out the proper lock box code. The locks were switched. #2 and # 3 were interchanged. There are a lot of flaws with mobile pick up and this place has nobody there on sundays.

The location and service was excellent the only issue I had was when I went to returned the truck the facility was closed and he told me when I went to pick up that he'll send me an email of my confirmation which I never received

The fual tank was almost empty and I have to put $25 gas in it and he still charged me $17.60 EZ fuel charges.

Attendant failed to explain after hours return procedure. He doesn't explain that you have to log in to uhaul and verify your location with their website. He also claimed I would be able to fill the tank at his gas station but the pumps were turned off. I was hit with $50 in additional charges and he has not returned my phone messages. To put it succinctly: not very professional.

Employee was rude and business was under staffed. I had made a reservation with a different location but got rerouted to this location.

I dropped the truck off at 3:00pm. A person working at the location had me move the truck. Before putting the key in the drop box, I went to the app. There were issues with the app verifying my location. The uhaul office was locked. I asked the employee, who had me move the truck, what to do. He didn't really know. He said to make sure the truck was empty. The next day I got a charge of $20 for dropping the truck off after hours. Also, I drove the 15' truck 28 miles (which is verified from the receip) yet got hit with a $40 refuel charge. I called a repesnative, who pulled up my receipt and said I used 1/4 a tank of gas. I don't understand how that is possible. The only time I used gas was when I was driving.

not only did you not have the hand truck and blankets i ordered your office stunk horrendously from cigarette smoke, i couldn't stand being in there for 5 minutes and your poor dog is breathing second hand smoke all day.

The rental was reserved at a different location than the one where the truck was to be picked up. The person at the original location failed to inform that the truck may have to be picked up at a different location. The only explanation offered was "that is how U-Haul works." How am I expected to know "how U-Haul works?" Also much mis-information on how tolls can be paid, since many roads now have cash-less tolling. Afraid that I will pay for tolls multiple times.

Not much I was very satisfied to find the truck I needed on short notice, truck was clean inside and out including cargo area. The gentleman that took care of me was very polite and nice, he took care of me while he did his attending of gas stations and I was out pretty quick. Thumbs up ????

The staff at the affiliated gas station was not at all friendly when asked for advice about how much gas would be needed for 1/4 tank. I realize that the gas station may not be directly responsible for the rentals, but a helpful attitude is not too much to expect. The van was parked on a mulched strip of land located very close to busy Route 17. It was a bit dangerous to walk around the van for inspection purposes in the dart (at 9 PM or so). The lock mechanism on the key pickup boxes was very tricky to operate and instructions were not sufficient to easily allow me to access the key. The gas station operator mentioned that a previous renter gave up and let without their rental.

This location is great overall. There were glitches with the mobile pick up / drop off that made the experience a little messy. Somehow it thought I traveled 100,000 miles in my 3 hour rental and I couldn't retrieve or change the odometer picture. I was eventually charged correctly.

I spoke with a wonderful woman at your headquarters and she gave me a price and the best deal I just looked at the bill I received and it doesn't match. I would like to have an explanation of the discrepancy. Very sincere thanks. Russ Everett

Paul was great. Communicated perfectly and efficiently. Will definately use this facility many more times. One important thing to mention, when you use the address link on the website, GPS actually takes you to a different location. This put us a half hour behind schedule. You really need to look into this. I can explain further if need be 201-424-8993. Again, great job at this facility.

Return location is a tire center/gas station. No staff to perform check out on Saturday, resulting in an errant extra day fee because person returned to check out truck on Sunday, which was past 24 hour mark. Charged a random $10 dollar NJ domestic security fee on return.

I was overcharged for fuelI got rental with just under a quarter tank of fuel returned it with a quarter tank of fuel. My bill I had 2 seperate charges 1 for fuel fill service $30 and 1 for $14.40 fuelI put $15 worth of gas in truck bringing it up to quarter tank

Services was Horrible. The person who attends this location, need better customer service skills. I never want to do business with them anymore. Did not let me know of the break down of how much it was. he only charged me. I had to fill up my gas tank and pay for my own mileages on top of that? And to top it all off, he wanted to copy my company credit card so he can process it later. It was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. If anything i felt cheated, not comfortable with the way he did business. I'm truly sorry to sound to negative but it was one of the worst first experience i had with U haul.

The reservation process was a nightmare. Made reservation, was told two days to pick up date that equipment was going to be at location, then 15 minutes later, not then 15 minutes late it will be. Made all of my moving arrangements, called the day before pick up and was told no longer available, I have to drive an hour and 1/2 away after work, if I can get there before 4. After spending two hours of my work day dealing with this was told I could get it before 6. Stillmeant that my husband would have to leave work early. Process was stressful and frustrating. Company employees appear incompetent
