The gentleman at the drop off location surprised me when he brought up the blanket issue. After a long day of moving, I was not expecting to find out that the blankets....in the condition I received them as, was now my responsibility to correct. The gentleman at the drop off location was accommodating with providing bags and even came into the back of the truck to help me bag the dozen blankets. All in all a great service was provided. Just wish there was more continuity with the orders, blankets, (and their original state). It almost felt like, UHAUL charged the previous user $25 for the mess and then left it on me to fix. - (that part left me feeling taken advantage of as a paying and repeat customer). We were supposed to pick up our UHaul at a mother location but no one was there. And when calling customer service they told us to go to a different location and that something was wrong with the booking. We went to the petro location and the guy working there was amazing and friendly.! However it's horible how your things don't work.. our booking was messed up and put us an hour behind.,,your self check in doesn't even work,,, then that the pin pad to pay with debit wasn't working properlyâ€¦.. they didn't have the dolly I needed. The car was dirty and just unpleasantâ€¦ only we turned the tow option off it drive a lot better. This is the second time that the service wasn't the best with UHaul. However I did appreciate the guy that was trying his best at petroZydrune K.
Would definitely use again. My only issue was the return procedure took longer than I thought necessary.Michael C.
I went twelve miles in the vehicle and had to put in nearly $25 to bring it back to the fuel level line that they marked on the contract. Clearly I should have paid more attention to this when I took the vehicle, as it was likely well under the actual amount that was in the vehicle. Feeling a little bit scammed, but would use them again based on a real good experience previously. Strike One....Andy S.

Passenger door key lock was hanging out, the cab of the vehicle was filthy, and the cargo area had been hauling farm product and smelled like manure. I had to sweep out the back before using it. When I mentioned this to the location operator, he was unconcerned and told me there was nothing he could have done about the condition of the vehicle. This service and vehicle was unacceptable, but due to my situation, I was forced to use this disgusting vehicle.John S.

I reserved a 15' truck & was given a 10' truck. This was not big enough for the move. I had to use 2 pick up trucks in addition to the rental truck. Also, did the online registration and it still took 45 minutes at the location to pick up the truck. I feel the online booking and registration is a huge waste of time!!Mark A.

Uhaul overall I will never use again or recommend. Over $180 plus $25 for gas top up for 3 hrs and just over 100 km. Uhaul uses miles per hour and not kilometres. Will go elsewhere for future needs.Shondi G.
There are no signs or any directions to indicate the drop off location as it's on the shared property of a Petro Canada but hidden in the back. The location has piles of garbage, old vehicles and transport trucks scattered around the parking lot making parking the truck a nightmare. The personnel didn't seem to have any sort of formal training. Very rude and not helpful at all. He seemed pre-occupied working at a separate mechanic shop on the property. We were having an issue and he didn't offer any help, simply said it's our fault and we need to figure it out. Going forward, I wouldn't recommend this location to anybody until the personnel has improved on his customer services skills.Dion B.

When you have 24hr online pick up it should work at the location you are picking up or listed as not available. The uhaul emote was having an equally hard time with my reservation and we had to start a new one. Also more information as to the hours employees are actually there and where they can be located at say a petro uhaul location like this one would be nice. The gas station attendant was very helpful which made the transaction possible.Brenna O.

After U-Haul royally screwed the dog on my initial booking of a 26' truck in Alliston ON, changing it to a 15' a few days before, guaranteeing a truck and failing to come through on that guarantee, keeping me on hold for over an hour, being passed around like a bong at a zeppelin concert I was finally able to pick up a truck 40 minutes away at the orangeville location. Here I had no issues, quick and good service with detailed information on truck returns and fuel credit.MARK D.
Having to drive an hour farther than our original location and being told this the day before while moving on entire house with two kids, was not the ideal moving arrangement when we had made this reservation almost a month before. This business model is substandard and we will not be using Uhaul again for this very purpose. Completely reckless for paying customers who you have entered into an agreement with. Also not having the additional rental equipment we asked for and then having a way for us to get it since you can't call a location was garbage. My reservation has been cancelled 1 minute, yes, 1 minute before pickup by a very rude lady that suggested me to drive 1 hour to pickup from a different location. The funny thing was, after going in person to the original location I was able to find a better option at the same rate that was never brought by the rude call Center lady. Unbelievable l! The Management Was quite rude. He took a picture of my friends license with his personal phone saying that it was uhaul policy. He argued with my friend when she requested that he delete it from his phone.once our business was completed. In addition we only drove 14 km in the truck we rented we placed 8 dollars in gas into the truck he then argued with us saying, that it was not full and drove it back to the pump and insisted we fill it. We put in 13 dollars total for gas we did not use. He said my friend was the hardest customer he had ever had. Never the less, and it became quite a heated conversation. I suggest that you may want to look into training in customer service. I will never go to that location again for any uhaul needs I may require in the future. Rep gave us the wrong key to a truck then called us to say we picked up the wrong truck. Had to go back and get a new truck. How would we know which truck is our if they provided us with the key? Otherwise no issues.JOHN P.

We said when renting that we would do 200km and that would cover us up to 124miles , we only did 105 miles/ km i do not know what this places goes by but they charged us extra on going over the km or miles what ever they use, so the way over charged us for miles/km 🤔??????????🤔 The total cost was $195.81 with which i understand being over charged for the miles/km. We stated yesterday 5/1/21 at 9:30 am that we would do approximately 200km so when we can back we still should have stayed with the kilomitirs not all of a sudden the next day start using miles So again we said 200km and we did 105km or miles. 200km adds up to 124 miles , 105 km adds up to 65 miles so either way we should not have be charged extra either way miles or Kilometres. The important thing here is we stated yesterday that we where going to do 200kmsMike F.

Low scoring is not necessarily reflection of poor service at location , but rather overall Truck share 24/7 experience . 1. IoS browser did not recognize my location even after applying Uhaul recommended changes 2. Call to Uhaul and received recomendation to use Uhaul app instead. It will safe me time if I was instructed to use app in the first place. BTW , time that was already charged for truck use. 3. after following all truck pickup app steps , including filling in manualy driver license details after app failed to extract DL details from well taken picture , I was instructed to go and pick up keys from UHaul store - in person transaction which I thought whole intention was to avoid 4. after previous steps turmoil I did not ask for ordered and paid for utility dolly and furniture pads. My expectations were they are in the truck , but they were not there and only after arriving at loading site I realized that I might have needed to request them. Uhaul personell at pickup location did not offer ordered items to me, so I ended up figuring out loading / unloading process without those ordered and paid for items.Michael F.
Absolutely disgusted in the customer service. Was made to put more money in the tank then we picked it up on and tried to explain thats not the amount that was in it service guy was flailing arms around in public making us feel like criminals. Not only that but both employees only wore masks covering mouths leaving nose exposed. I will never go back here nor would I ever recommend this place to anyone. Why don't you give trucks with a FULL tank of gas and then ask for them to be returned with a full tank of gas? That would be very easy. Instead I had to guess how much gas to get it to the same slightly less than half gas tank. It looked the same to me when I put the gas in but then I was charged an additional $30. There is no way for me to know if that is a correct charge or if it is a scam. A full tank is a full tank which would leave no room for error or overcharges.BELINDA S.
Not expected to have a friendly service but did not expect to have terrible service. First of all, picking up location kept changing and I had to call to confirm the location. Second, I opted to a mobile pickup but the system never worked. At pickup location, system did not work, so I had to call the center... but holding 25min in minus 6 with wind weather, then finally decided to go in the Petro Canada station(where rental was). I ask the guy why it is not working? He said it never works....no apology or anything. He asked me the alternate contact person, I told the name of my wife, he angrily kept asking me "what is the name".... l repeated a few time and spelled it for him, then he got it. No apology.... I will never ever use your service again. They have Petro Canada gas station as well and I will never ever use their gas station either. Terrible system and terrible shop. The van was one day late to pick up, they called only a few hours before I was to pick up the van, I had already book my friends to help me move, that really messed up my schedule. The van was filthy, covered in dog hair, coffee cups, and water bottles. The glove compartment was broken and would not close. About 10inuted after I picked up the van, I went to spray the wind shield, no wiper fluid. I bought some, went to spray, the passenger side wiper blade was broken and did nothing, the driver side kept smearing in one section. The rear passenger side tyre kept going flat, and on the dash, the readout kept saying the van needed an oil change. I will never rent from U-Haul again.Kevin H.

There are no winter tires to the truck. When I was driving on a 60kmph and I'm on 45kmph the truck totally got out of control. There was an oncoming car at the same time and there was a lot of risk of collision. I'm Lukky. Truck got stuck in the snow for 1 hour. My friend bought his tractor for towing. I suggest not to use these trucks if there are no winter tires.Vishnu N.
I found individual who took my initial booking to be well informed and patient with my many questions. Providing me with follow up phone numbers to items he was unable to assist me with. The gentleman who serviced me when I went to pick up the van went above and beyond to provide me with a reasonable final rate, prepare the van for the long journey (cleaning the snow off it, topping up the windshield fluids, etc.). I had spoken to three different uhaul locations prior to my booking with this one. I was somewhat concerned when I went to pick up the van, but this gentleman put me at ease and ensured I would have a successful trip. One improvement I would suggest is that all your vehicles including your vans have winter tires put on them. I had to travel through the parts of the Canadian shield during winter and unfortunately, the night before part of my trip there was ice rain. All weather tires did not cut it. I had to carry a bag of salt and use it a couple of times just to ensure the van could get out of the parking areas. The vehicles with snow tires on them had no troubles.DAVIDAL C.

I also placed an order for moving boxes at the same time as ordering the truck and at no time was I told that that location didn't have boxes before I paid for them on line. Then when I was told they didn't have any boxes when I picked up the truck which just so happened to be the day of the move!!! Then I was told I'd need to contact another location which I did and not only wasted moving time but also had to put extra miles on the truck running around picking them up!!!! Not very good customer service at all. Then to make matter worse I had to buy them at the other location??? Then the ones I did pay for showed up at our door Tuesday night after the move and now they are not needed.Jim K.
We were forced to use this location when our rental in Bramptpn became unavailable. It is a gas station, so better than a supermarket but not as good as a dedicated facility. The staff are very helpful and friendly so I recommend it, the only issue was that the truck had not been cleaned and it was very dirty. I hope the previous renter was charged for that.DOUGLASM E.
