The Store Manager/Owner, Shane Hazelwood, is very helpful and provided great customer service. I had a bad experience with three other locations earlier in the month trying to move my mother's items when she had to be moved to a nursing facility. Getting the rental was easy, returning it has been a nightmare. I got charged for mileage that I was not supposed to be. Now they say they can't or won't help. I cancelled the card. Someone needs to call me. Oh yeah I have been on hold for customer service for 30 minutes.TIMOTHY S.

The front straps on the car hauler wasn't long enough because they was tore off..meaning I couldn't strap down the front tires. I had to drive 200 miles depending on the chain to hold me. We check the turn signals before we left..he said everything was good..but once it got dark..there was no tail lights. I had to turn on the vehicle lights that I was towing for safety. Oh by the way. I reserved the trailer..but whn I got there I was told I couldn't get it because someone PREPAID already..wtf. So I had to bring the trailer back at 3:00 a.m because the guy was picking it up at 8:00 a.mMONDRELL C.

The rental location was clean and the employee was very pleasant. The problems were created by the 1-800-UHAUL personal. It took 3 days to finally get a location after being given a location on Berry Blvd. then Anchorage, finally Paramount Park however the phone number listed is incorrect! Nothing was confirmed until the night before my rental. There was a problem with the door. It took 5 hours for a repairman to arrive. The emergency line never answered! I went online to "chat". The operator kept sending messages on my computer (which was fine) however she was asking for information I could not provide through my computer! Finally she entered the information for me however it still took 3 hours after that "chat". I had to pay another day because the wait on the repairman was so long we could not unload the truck in a timely manner. The man at the rental office was very kind but the entire experience was exhausting!Randy W.
Cabin of the van was dirty when the vehicle was received. Gas gauge had less than 3/4ths a tank when we were informed it had 3/4ths a tank of gas. Location did not have the tow dolly we reserved, thus we had to drive to a different location for the tow dolly (no one informed us of this prior to pick up).John B.

No concerns with the mechanical ability of the truck. The fuel economy was excellent, the storage was ample, and the engine well powered. Very impressed at the newness of the truck as well being a 2020 model with 18k miles. The interior smelled of both to tobacco and marijuana smoke upon my receiving of the truck from the previous drivers. When I commented about this to the gentleman at Q2 Paramount, this was dismissed as â€œwe can't do anything about what customers do in our trucksâ€. The odor somewhat relented as I continued to drive, but it definitely made 6hrs driving unpleasant with bronchial asthma.Bradley V.

Moving truck had dirt all over the floorboard when I got it. There were used gloves sitting in the passenger seat. Also a hair brush under the center seat. Engine was barely strong enough to reach legal speed limits. Engine sounded horrible as well! Maybe internet, contactless rental isn't a reasonable choice. Not sure how sanitary this truck was during Covid-19 if the truck was that nasty! I think I'll research other companies next time.JOHN AUSTIN A.

This dealer went above and beyond his job. he was so nice and helpful. The place was immaculate. Had it of not been for him i was never going to use uhaul again. 3 days prior tk renting this truck i had rented one and spent 25 dollars in uber and sat on hold for over. 40 mins to learn they didnt even have the truck. There were no apologies, nothing. He informed me of the. 50 guarentee and i believe i an entitled to it.Shannon K.

The employee was very friendly and helpful. My main complaint would be about the web site I used to rent the vehicle. 20 minutes after making the on-line confirmation and I got to the rental agency my confirmation had not shown up at the U-Haul place. Also the on-line rental web site is VERY tedious with asking about whether I wanted all this other stuff for moving. I just wanted a truck and nothing else. The web site should be revamped so a client doesn't have to go through 8 pages of stuff not needed.Denise F.

Shane was very accomodating. I was disappointed that the trailer was not available at the preferred pickup location and had to drive 30 minutes out of my way to get the trailer, but Shane made that issue less annoying.THOMAS B.
Truck rental reservation for 9:00 AM. Truck was not returned from previous renter until a little after 10:00 AM. There were other trucks on the lot but they were "reserved". When the previous renter returned he reported that the truck shook and a tie rod was bad. I was offered the bad truck if I was not going on the expressway. What? Suddenly, one of the trucks sitting on the lost was available. This hour plus delay through off my schedule and I had to reschedule my plan for another day. Out $56.02 for nothing. I will rent else where next weekend.Alan L.

The text communication was terrible. I was supposed to be able to pick my truck up before hours and could not because the link didn't work. When I returned the truck I was sent a text to asses the condition of the truck and that link didn't work so I guess I was charged $20 which I guess I'll never know because I could never get an itemized bill. Worker unhooked car trailer from truck before car removed , did not unhook chain which resulted in suv coming off trailer causing significant damage to vehicle and cost 250 for tow truck to get it off trailer. Claim in process. Avoid this location.Martin S.
