The building is small office to handle the rental storage units on the property. There are a few packing supplies and dollies for first-come-first serve. The operators of this facility opened the building 25 minutes late from posted opening time which delayed my start of the move. Phone was not answered or rolling over to a "live" person. I got help through UHAUL customer service ( who did excellent) but even they could not reach the operators of the facility. Upon arrival, operators explained was late arriving due to car problems. But I almost had to change reservation and drive waaaayy out of the way to get next closest avail truck. Perhaps cell phone numbers to operators would help with communication in such a situation.Dean L.
We had a 9am pickup appointment, along with many others. The store did not open until about 935 when the lady finally made it in. There was no organization and the storefront was cluttered. There was 1 appliance dolly in the store. I had it on my reservation. People in front of me in line asked to have it even though they didn't reserve it. She gave it to them until I mentioned I had reserved it. When I got my truck it barely started. The battery was nearly dead. The last startup to bring it back for dropoff was a miracle. When we arrived for dropoff the lot we had picked up the truck from was now a six flags parking lot as six flags is across the street. There was no guidance where to park the truck for dropoff. I would not recommend this pickup station to anyone.Andrew M.

Rental location in Agawam was bad. Staff were half hour late. No apologies. We were in a tight deadline Rude and premise is a disgrace. Steering of truck was bad. Kept pulling to the left. Hard to drive. Unbelievably bad truck. Driver door would not lock or even open fullyRobert B.

Was told to return our U-Haul to one location. We returned it, only to be called 1/2 hour later & told to return it to another location. Like we're some U-Haul valet or something. Completely unprofessional staff, talking on cell phones. Maybe if they put the phones down, the mistake of telling us to return the U-Haul to the wrong location wouldn't have been made?? Just a guess. With the stress of moving, this added unnecessary time & running around, carpooling U-Hauls around & was 100% avoidable. Thank you.Carrie G.

There were nine customers waiting for trucks and only three available. we had reserved one for pickup and had hired movers. If my husband hadn't been first in line, we wouldn't have gotten a truck for the movers, which we hired thru your website. Also, the person running desk did not know what they were doing. Our truck was low on oil, had a check engine light on and was making a weird noise when we picked up for a cross-state move. Attendant told us there was nothing she could do. We could take the broken 20' truck or a 15' truck which wouldn't have fit all my stuff. She then went and helped another family before finishing up. Not pleased at all. Won't be renting from uhaul in the future. I'll pay the little bit extra and use Penske.Tammie M.

When I dropped off the truck I almost two hours late past the 24h one way rental and was charged an extra day I was only late due to my moving help.com help being late, I should not have been charged this. Carol at the Agawam store was very friendly and helpful. For whatever reason my initial reservation was changed by UHaul - I had requested a pickup in Hadley but was told the day before the rental that there were no trucks available in the size I wanted. They changed my pickup location to the Agawam store - which opened 1.5 hours later than the Hadley store. I needed to get my daughter out of her apartment by noon - so the late change by UHaul was not helpful. Seemed like a Seinfeld episode - UHaul knows how to take reservations they just don't know how to keep them. In any event, Carol was very helpful to get me going as quickly as possible.Robert R.

I wouldn't say the customer service was bad at the place I'd say over all I was dissatisfied with our customer service given in general. I called the 1800 number multiple times and got very little help.. Mostly got attitude from the people on the phone with the exception from a few. Called with a complaint and was told that I'd be contacted by 'another supervisor' to possibly help and that still has yet to happen. I feel like good service was not important to anyone I talked to.ANGELA L.

This was the worst experience I've ever had with a rental service and would never return to this uhaul location. They do not answer their phones. The drop off is confusing due to the fact they use their parking lot for Six Flags parking. And not even the Uhaul customer support line could get in touch with this location. No one there when I brought truck at 9:30 am. Then found out place did not open umtil 10am!! However at 10:10 am still no one there. I left and wrote a message for personnel to call me when they got there. No one ever called me. Final bill sent by e-mail with no note. The truck was not running at the time of pickup. We had to wait 4 hours for repair personnel to arrive to fix it and then they sent us off in the same potentially unsafe truck for a 1300 mile move. We had movers at our home to load the truck and they had to wait the 4 hours while we paid them to sit. This was pretty ridiculous. It was not the fault of the pickup location but the fault of U-Haul for not have well maintained equipment available in the first place. We made the trip safely but worried the entire way that the truck was about to break down any minute. Never again!MARLYS B.
