Although the locations were fine and the people I dealt with were fine, the process was terrible. You had called and asked to give me a discount in exchange for picking up on River Ave and using a different size truck, but when I got there, the fee didn't include the discount. It took 45 minutes of back and forth with the Springfield office to resolve, time I didn't have. Your computer system sucked. I will never take you up on another offer like that. Also, the truck had a tail light out, but otherwise fine.BROOKS B.

I reserved my truck at a location much closer to my address, but was told that my reservation would be picked up way across town. This was inconvenient for me, as I had to recruit a friend to drop me off at the new rental location. Personnel at the new location was understanding and offered to add on the additional miles to the contract at no charge.Carter M.

The truck was very dirty. There were crumbs and crackers looking like debris inside the truck. It was a very uncomfortable truck to drive the brake pedal was way above the gas petal. My ankle still hurt from having to bend my right foot to reach the brake pedal.I am 5'7 but I have never had such an experience with a UHAUL truck before specially when going moving out of town.Frieda B.

I scheduled for Springfield Oregon. Three days later I got a call from 20 miles a way from where I should pick up and they didn't open til 10:00am. 5min from being there the day of pickup U-Haul calls says the company isn't open and the changed my pickup to across town. I went to the place 5 min away and they were open BUT U-Haul took mybreservation out of the â€œcueâ€ so I had to wait for that to be fixed. I was there 45 min. No walk through, no given time when to drop off. My U-Haul had spilled coffee all over it and pistachioshells all over the ground and garbage under the seats.Brandie M.

Oil was over two quarts low. I was supposed to pickup truck at Glenwood location at 8 am and was sent to this location when I arrived. This location did not open till 10 am and I was not informed of this. Had to get resident up and he took care of me but this should not have happened. I had left contact info when I made reservations and did not hear that this change had occurred. No communication on u-hauls part and got me behind schedule for my trip.Rodger B.

The location ideally makes sense because it's a self storage and any one-way may just unload there given the renter has a unit. However, there really is no good drop off spot to park the truck(s). I felt I was inconveniencing everyone.luthie W.

The location was not the one selected and very difficult to get to and when we got there, and we were under tremendous time constraints, the truck was not there. We had to leave and then hurry back under tremendous pressure. The truck had not been completely emptied of previous driver's stuff and the windshield was filthy. The man running the operation seemed unexperienced and disinterested. I had no time to accustom myself to driving the big truck and this added more stress to an already ridiculously stressful situation. The man assured us we could go trade the 15 footer for a ten footed on Franklin. This was not true. My initial contact by phone when I reserved the truck was very different from the reality when we went to pick it up.HELEN A.

We were told to drop the uhaul off at a different location because they would be closed. Uhaul told us this was not ok, and we should not have been told that. This is a terrible way to communicate, and do business. I think next time I move I will find another solution than Uhaul.TRAVIS I.

The truck had over 100K miles- should have been retired. Something is wrong with the blinker switch on the steering column. Agent was very good.virgil W.
The U-Haul side of this process was terrrible, I mean absolutely terrible, The dispatch lady told me to be at the location between 10-2pm well I showed up and 10:45am and the gave away my uhaul because there was a 10min grace period. No one told me at the time of confirmation, there was nothing stating that on my paper, it was very poor communitcation. Rob and his wife however were nice enough to find an extra 20' truck. I have rented multiple times from U-Haul and this time they really dropped the ball.Justin K.

Work on using a credit card machine; I had to pay cash because of a misunderstanding and when people are moving they normally don't have alot of cash. It also took almost and hour just to get us the truck....Other than that, the people are very nice, just not very knowledgable....Robert L.

The ramp on the vehicle was "askew" and was hard to pull out and did not go back in but fell off. In the walk around I would reccomend that the ramp be inspected as well. In my case it was not.STEVE J.

Personnel at this location were personable but gave us incorrect info. They told us if we returned the rental truck earlier than scheduled we would receive an adjustment to our contract. That didn't happen. Also, the amount of gas in the tank was entered into the computer incorrectly; the personnel made a manual adjustment on our contract, but the personnel in Longview told us she had to go by how the contract was printed.KARYL A.
