I had to drive 3 hours to this location for a trailer, and pay twice the amount I did a year ago... Would be very helpful if uhaul could move their own trailers around if there are areas in need.. That was a terrible experience and if I had another way to move my things, I would NOT have chosen uhaul.IAN C.

The date I had scheduled to pick up my container was confirmed via email. There was no indication or prompt telling me I needed to coordinate with the local location. When I did call before, they said my things were at a different location than I scheduled for. When I called the other location, they didn't know where my container was. After tracking it down all morning, the location I did not schedule for told me they didn't have a fork lift driver to get my things for me. I had taken off work to move in that day as well as 3 of my friends helping me. Finally after a long discussion, they got a driver to come in that evening to get it down. However, I had reserved a truck to rent in order to transport the Ubox, but they didn't have one for me. Luckily a friend offered to see if they could tow it. It was a hot mess and with a name like Uhaul, I was shocked at how bad this experience was.Carly F.

To start, the mobile app was not working properly and would load one page, then fail to connect on the next. I had to keep restarting the checkin process. I eventually went to the mobile website and it worked. The authorization process took 10 minutes to complete and I messaged the agent twice through the page to get an update and never received a response. No idea why I had to authorize the rental in the first place, but that took far too long and almost caused me to be late for the movers. The truck was very dirty on the outside and the cab reeked of smoke. Someone put a watermelon air freshener that did nothing to help with the smell. The ramp was partially broken, so when the movers pulled it out, it just fell to the ground instead of stopping like it should have so they could hook the ramp. The location had the truck ready to go though, exactly where they said it would be on the map and with the key ready to go.Curtis F.

This was the best experience I have ever had with uhaul. Typically I'm pissed because of the stupid half tank scam you all run. Just have the customers return the truck with a full tank and call it a day. It stresses me out and getting gas is a pain in the ass with a big truck. I literally try to use Penske or Budget because they have you return the truck full, uhaul should follow suit.Eric F.
My ubox was a week late. Poor communicationn, kept being passed around when looking for updates. Was actually told at one point that no one was sure where my stuff was. I don't understand why I had to continue to contact and work with the unloading company I hired through you - feels like you should do that. Marc and the two other members of his team that we interacted with were and are FANTASTIC! Our daughter did an interstate move and my husband had been in contact with Marc before we even left. He walked us through the Ubox experience, offered his opinions (which we took full advantage of) and was there even before the Ubox left our home state! He made a high anxiety life event so easy for us. We would definitely recommend the Ubox move and this facility to anyone moving to the Bend/Redmond area. Didn't know my reservation got switched to a different Uhaul dealer. Moving is stressful enough without being redirected to different location. Also quite frustrating that I couldn't drop off truck 1 mile from my new home and had to drive 15miles in opposite direction to return and get billed more.Forrest H.

A terrific staff works in this location. I would recommend that inventory of 6x10 enclosed trailers be bolstered in Central Oregon as this location carried the ONLY one found in inventory! The next nearest was 92 miles away, at The Dalles, OR. Thank you-Michael H.

Email confirmation had the wrong pickup location. Called multiple times for customer service help but I was put on hold for twenty minutes each time. At each location I tried to call. Which is super odd because each time I was inside a uhaul location, the phone didn't ring once, nor was anybody on the phone. Must be a coincidence. It alll went well, and I dropped the trailer off at 2:24pm on Friday 10/30. Took two pictures, as I always do when dropping a rental trailer off. At 3:31pm on Saturday 10/31, I got a call from a lady asking me when I was going to return the trailer. My heart about dropped out of the bottom of my stomach-as I assumed it was missing, and I was going to be on the hook. I offered up the photo evidence, and the lady said she did believe me, and that the people probably hadn't checked it back in. I find that a strange way to run a business, and somewhat unprofessional in that it caused me some stress the next day. My .02 worth of input. I've rented several times from the Bend location on Hwy 97, and never had this issue. This was my first at Redmond site.Ed H.

I scheduled a 15' U-haul. I received a call that the 15' was no longer available but will receive a 20' one instead which was great. I showed up at the time I was supposed to pick it up and I was told it was not there that someone had it. I asked for what ever they had available which was a 10' U-haul. I had to make a few more trips and was unable to use a ramp since this type of U-haul did not have one. To add to my experience the U-haul was not cleaned. Food crumbs, un-swept cargo box, and an unsafe dirty windshield also greeted me upon my first inspection. Not the best experience.cameron B.

I specifically asked that the tires be inspected as we were pulling the trailer across country. I noted with the vendor that one tire seemed worn, but he convinced me that it was fine. Unbeknownst to me, the part of this tire I saw was actually the best part, and that the part of the tire I couldn't see at pickup was worse. And as luck would have it, the bald side was always hidden during each of my inspections until we reached Iowa. When I saw the state of the tire west, I called the uhaul emergency line immediately. I have to admit, the person was very responsive & the technician who came and changed 2 tires were very efficient and helpful. But I couldn't believe the shape of the 2 tires he took off. I am deeply disappointed that the Redmond vendor allowed equipment in that shape leave his property, especially after asking for an inspection.BRuce M.

The directions to get there are so misleading. It wanted me to turn right into it off the highway. First there is a fence blocking anything from going through, a ditch to go through it you were able to make it through the fence and not to mention the oncoming traffic going the opposite direction. Then it took quite a bit of time for my application to be processed. However, drop off was quick and easy and I appreciated it a ton. For the most part the vehicle was clean, just not sure if it was sanitized between uses for Covid-19 because there was quite a bit of dust. Overall though I would give it a 7/10. Wouldn't recommend this location but would definitely recommend u-haul to anyone and everyone.Angelica M.
