Best U-haul I’ve ever used. Staff are always so friendly and inviting. There are many U-haul locations that could learn a lot about customer service and appreciation from this location. I would assume this location is owned and operated by a franchisee who is a proponent of servant leadership.

We put $20:00 of gas in for a 60 mile drive. You then charged me $20:00 more, not acceptable!

Truck was filthy. Service was horrible. To top it off my wife left her Michael Kors wallet with credit cards/$240.00 cash etc. A Good Samaritan that was the very next person to rent the truck turned it in and contacted us via Facebook. When we went to retrieve the wallet we were told it was not there and they knew nothing about it. Why would the guy even contact us if he kept it. He wouldn’t. The Shell station on 182nd & Stark that represents you(Uhaul) are thieves. This is completely unacceptable for any business, especially one representing a large company like Uhaul. I know leave it on Uhaul to take some action. I’m filling complaints with BBB and the police.

Make sure the tires are full of air, hire people who know how to handle low tires. I was told to drive to les Schwab by the location I rented from, then after going to les Schwab uhual told me to wait for roadside assistance. Huge waste of time for me, being knowledgeable of company standards should be a prerequisite for renting out trucks. Obviously it is not.

The price was misleading! 19.95 and I ended up paying $133!! I was charged a $25 cleaning fee and the truck was returned in the same condition! I understood that I had to pay .99 cents a mile but what sucked is that I couldn’t return it to a local Uhaul! I had to drive 15+ miles to return it from the location I rented it from! I will not ever recommend this location!! Very disappointed!

Since I didn't really see anything or anyone at this site since it was a drop off at night, I would like to say that The uhaul site at Lake Appliance & Repair was fantastic and really helped me out, getting a larger truck with a ramp and the equipment I needed, without asking anything in return... really wish I got to review them.

Bottom Line: Don't do business with Storage Central, you may very well end up regretting it. Short Story: Utility trailer reserved on line not returned on time by prior renter. Offered bigger trailer at smaller trailer price. OK but not great so far. Ended up with charge on my credit card for the larger trailer. Storage Central can't reimburse me. Longer Story: Storage Central isn't Uhaul, they sell and rent Uhaul product and equipment. When there is a problem, even a problem that is caused by Storage Central employees, they can't fix it. They don't apologize they just say over and over and over "We don't have the authority to …". No "I'm sorry we made a mistake". No "We'll do everything we can to make this right". No owning of the problem. Uhaul, if you are listening/reading, you need to make this right and right now. - Arranged for 5x8 utility trailer rental with Storage Central. Wanted 5x7 trailer but none available within 50 miles. - Show up to pick up trailer. It's not available because the prior renter has not returned it yet. I was offered bigger trailer for smaller trailer price. I said "No Thanks, I'll wait. - 1/2 hour later, prior renter says they will not return the trailer for 3 more hours. OK I'll take the larger trailer. - Different person prints up the rental agreement but has the price on it for the larger trailer. I say, "that's not what you agreed to". Employee, we are not Uhaul, we are not authorized to give you a lessor price. Me, the gentlemen right over there just told me you would give me the price of the lessor trailer. Discussion ensues between he two employees. Employee I'm working with calls Uhaul and gets authorization for the lessor price and prints up a new agreement. - I rent the larger trailer. Return it cleaned up and with no damage, incidental or otherwise. - A few hours later I get email notice of the charge on my credit card for the, you guessed it, the larger trailer. - Next morning I call up Storage Central to get part of the charges refunded. New employee, it tell the whole story. Employee, "We are not authorized to refund you …". No apology, no I'm sorry. - Yes, at this point I'm angry. Yes, I yell. Employee hangs up. No, at this point I'm not about to apologize.

I drove 40 miles and put 3.5 gallons gas back in the vehicle. Then you put an additional 3.3 gallons in and charged me almost $15. So you are telling me your 20' vehicle needed almost 7 gallons to go 40 miles? It only gets 5.7mi per gallon fuel efficiency?

This facility was great. The problem was the central customer service at Uhaul never dispatched a work order to them to deliver our boxes. After a week of broken promises, I called them direct and paid them direct to get my boxes. This facility is not owned by Uhaul, by works with them as an independent contractor.

We showed the vehicle, the pictures and him listen to the recording of the noise we had to listen to because of the weather stripping off of the window-took it back two days early, with more gas then we started with and less mileage than allotted and he would not discount charges. He gave me an 800 number that had me on hold over 30 minutes. This should be a free if not drastically fee reduced sale.

The sales representative was very helpful and personal. He contracted the movers to help unpack the uboxes. They were very curious and worked quickly. We will be asking for them again
