I received my uhaul completely on empty. When the truck turned on, the light for the gas being empty was already on. Thankfully my apartment was only 5 minutes away. I filled up the truck so it wouldn't turn off on me.Liana H.

Blu Storage customer service counter person rude unprofessional and border line hostile racist. I will never conduct business in Jersey City again 190 Baldwin ave. Brought me to tears. Keys to the truck tossed at me and directed to find my own rental. UHaul huge conglomerate when you outsource your buisness beware of the poor business man with no ethics respect no decency ! The scheduling process over the phone by someone not at the location you are renting the uhaul from. When u arrive often times its something totally different from what was discussed on the phone with a different person not at that location.Jessica P.

I returned to truck only to receive a phone as me to return the truck hours after I had already done so...? Also I rented a $10 hand truck and forgot to take it with me. Incorrectly charged by the agent for utility dolly, furniture pad, and safe move which I never asked for, and wasn't even provided in the truck. I originally booked for 15' truck. When I went to pick up, the agent was on break and returned after 30 minutes. Then I was told they don't have the 15' truck and gave me 10' truck instead. To put the cherry on top of overall horrible service, they incorrectly charged me for stuff that wasn't even provided. I was told I would get a callback regarding the disputed charges, but never got a call either.Asad K.

I am happy with my rentals however, this trip 30 minutes into my drive I brought the passenger window down and it would not go back up. So I drove on the expressway for 25 miles in 22 degree weather before i was able to bring it back up. Then for the next 28 days I had No window. Also I was given the Van with No windshield fluid during snow Flurries, not good and would expect some kind of discount seeing how I have rented multiple times for extended periods of time. Other than that I am completely satisfied. I'm not a complainer. The staff is Fantastic...Matthew O.

My vehicle wasn't ready at the designated pickup time (10am) which delayed my moving and ultimately made my experience a poor one. The young lady at the desk was very friendly and helpful though. I have rented equipment from this location twice and every time I have received extra charges due mainly to not processing the return promptly and in your presence. I got a flat tire, besides that, I changed the tired and then they told me that I have to pay for the tire even tho I fixed myself they said the insurance doesn't cover that, really ? TERRIBLEMelissa O.
FIRST...to make sure to clean, mop, and sanitize the entire interior, the vent, and including the back merchandise transporting/loading area of your vehicles before renting them out to the next paying customer. The cargo van I'd received was filthy inside. It had used tissues in the cup holding area, also thrown (note...we didn't see these tissues until way later after the window visor fell back there) in the back of the driver's seat, plus two balled up used tissues were in the back transporting area. There was also a sticky spill (maybe from soda/juice) down from the dash board, and cup area straight into the driver's side floor gas pedal area. The entire driver's, plus passenger's area had brownish gray dirt including the same dirt inside the back, and the dash board was a bit dusty. We also couldn't use the air conditioner because of the dirty dusty stale air freshner smell omitting from it. The vents, plus the car should have smelled of a clean disinfectant. We had to rush in order to make a deadline time before the person we needed to meet left with our keys. However, we were shocked by the unclean van we received because its still "Covid" where everything should still be thoroughly sanitized. Eitherway we shouldn't had to deal with an unclean rental with also discarding someone's nasty balled up tissues left behind. Please, if you're aren't going to sweep out, nor mop out dirt from your vehicles, at least look around for and toss out "Nasty Used Tissues", plus garbage, and scrub up sticky spilled liquid. especially from the driver's area.
