The young girl there was very nice, kind, knowledgeable. The 10 ft truck was older but ran ok. When I opened the cab door the smell of ciggarrets hit me in the face like the bottom of an ashtray. Part of it was a because it's a hot day. The floor was ok, did have some sand residue but I fully expected it to see ciggarrets butts but there were none. I was only 2 blocks from home so I went in and got can of air freshener from my kitchen and sprayed the cab and AC vents inside. I only drove truck 10 miles but my clothes smelled of smoke when I got out. I left the can of febreeze spray with office person and suggested the cabs be checked and sprayed when in that condition before rented out again.

Pull the rental to the front so the customer doesnt have to walk and search for the rental. I had to try key in 4 different trucks to find the right one.

Before leaving the facility, the oil warning light began flashing and sounding. The employee told me not to worry, the oil just needed changing and the destination location would take care of it. When I got home, I checked the oil and then had to add 4 quarts of oil before it even appeared on the dipstick. The oil appeared very black and obviously had not been changed in a long time.I was very disappointed that the truck was rented in this condition. I was very concerned about the truck breaking down in route and felt lucky that I made it to my destination.

Excellent customer service, great communications via text, phone and email. Pricing was much better than other rental truck companies. We rented a 15' truck for an 800 mile trip and everything went very smoothly. Highly recommend.

My location was changed without confirmation. Which caused extra miles... I would have not made the reservation if I knew this was the case. The size of the truck was changed without confirmation. It took me 1.5 hours to pick it up at self storage due to the uhual system freezing, and I have been charged twice for the same rental. I will be using another company next time. You guys need to change your system. The guy who helped us out was a champ... nothing he could do ... this was out of his control.

I was using Safari internet browser for my mobile pickup; however, Safari would not access my camera. I finally figured out I had to download Chrome, which was able to access my camera so that I could take a pic of my face and license. Knowing this ahead of time would have been helpful and saved a little time.

This is the second truck I returned to this location. There is no parking. On both occasions there was no employee available to help and no one to call. Very disappointed. I also tried calling U-Haul to no avail. After being on hold for 10 minutes I returned the truck online.

I had a reservation and it still took 25 minutes to work through the paper work and get me the keys. The representative complained repeatedly about how "bad" the software was and it always was the problem. Returning the truck was a much easier event. I had another U-haul experience a week earlier at Lloyd's just down the street and they were FABULOUS! Helpful, quick and positive - this most recent check-in experience was none of those.

I was charged 3 days instead of the 2 days I used it for. I literally received text messages to bring the truck back for another customer 8 hours before my time was up on my second day. *Lots of hidden unexplained fees!!* $19.95 a day? Try almost double that. I emailed U haul and still no reply. Ive used U haul countless times, this will definitely be my last.

This location truly was not a problem people were very courteous and very nice. The issue I have is that the customer service phone number is the worst I've ever experienced in my life and I likely will not use the U-Haul again because of it It. And I truly mean if I could write the customer service phone number customer service people it would be a zero out of 10.

Told them I would average 80 miles a day for 3 days. Came back after 3 days and was told contract was for 80 miles total. Was lied to and charged 100 dollars more than expected. Will never rent from you again.

Update your software. Too slow and cumbersome. I like to hold the truck with a credit card and then pay with a debit cards instead when I turn the truck in. That should not be as difficult as it is.

The 26' truck was new with 2,500 miles on it. Excellent truck. The representative at Street Smart Storage was friendly, attentive and diligent in processing the paperwork and preparing the truck. Excellent experience.

Main problem was with lack of maintenance of the truck. The engine was 2 quarts low on oil. The windshield was cracked and was only tagged as cracked after asking the agent on exiting the facility. The paperwork was messed and I left without insurance although I clearly requested Safe Move Plus coverage. The staff however was very pleasant and friendly. The facility is clean and organized. The Manager Harry is great when he is on site.
