When I found this location was closer then the original location chosen, I took the trailer there and was met up by a very mean agent who proceeded to tell me that I had to blow out the trailer but first he told me I could leave it at his location as I had not identified his shop as my drop off point. I told him that I would NOT be blowing out the trailer and if he saw the condition of my belongings upon arrival he would understand, although I/m certain he couldn't care less. Terrible customer service and he proceeded to tell me that it would cost me $100 to leave the trailer at his location. I WILL be calling your Corporate office about my experience. I want the $100 returned however my experience with uhaul for throughout this entire transaction warrants a complete refund.

I think you should update your computer system. I had to wait until the system came back up after being down for an entire day. The gentleman that helped me was very nice. And helped me a great deal. It was difficult for him the get me the renal due to the computer not working properly. He went above and beyond to make it possible for me to get the truck I needed. I feel badly for him that he had such trouble with the computer. All and all I would go back to this location if I need a rental again.

When picking up the trailer I was given a unit that had really really bad tires. Brought it up to the U-Haul personnel that was helping me out, and his reply was can't do anything about it. Would never recommend that location based upon my own personal experience. If anybody on the U-Haul side would like to contact me, I would gladly share the photos of the tires that I brought up to there attention.

When the asshole checked the gas gauge He said I didn't fill it up probably. Witch I do . He was just to lazy An wanted to rip me off money The guy did not get in the truck to look at the gas properly while sitting in the driver seat . He looked at it from the ground An from the left . So it looked like less gas was in there then a quarter tank. So they ripped me off saying I didn't put the gas back were it was.

The staff are not friendly or very helpful. Truck had a lot of snow & ice on top that when it came off it broke the windshield. I try to avoid renting from them, would rather go to Don's auto in Alfred or the place in Waterboro

We were very happy with our experience! When I showed up for the reservation, I realized I booked for the wrong day. The gentleman at the counter was very nice and switched the reservation with no issues. We were very thankful! The van was clean and ready to go. The return was just as easy. Was able to complete the online check in the day before the truck rental. Quick and easy to pick up the next day . Truck had a pair of dolly's and several blankets in the box that helped make loading & unloading much easier and the blankets were nice to have to protect our wooden furnishings.

I had ordered 24 blankets with the rental truck; none were available, so I had to make an extra stop in Portland to pick up blankets. The staff in Portland provided me with blankets and even loaded them into the truck for me. Very nice touch.

I was charged for 300 miles in the rental — my big mistake was trusting the location. Lesson learned. Unfortunately I am associating that with UHaul. When I added up the trips we took the total mileage came to 112.2 miles. Basically I was overcharged approximately 130.00 dollars. We asked in the beginning to estimate number of miles, we estimated 150. The van also had heavy smoke odor. And the right side mirror wouldn't hold its position. Another option is needed between yes and no for equipment maintenance / cleanliness. The van was clean, but smelled bad. Right side mirror needed help but that was the only issue.

The cargo area wreaked off cat urine. As soon as the gate was lifted the smell poured out. Fortunately I was only moving around some wood, but if had been moving all of my personal belongings I would have been so upset and unable to use this truck. Very surprised they didn't clean it given how obvious the odor was.

I tried to be in constant contact with this place but they never answer their phone. My truck had to be late because of contract problems with the house im buying. I only got threatening emails and texts threatening to call the police and report truck stolen I received gas charges that were a lie and charged some service fee because the app didn't let me mobile upload due to location not loading. I told the person on the phone and they made account notes that the app wasnt working. This took me a lot of extra time to try to get working.

I returned the vehicle with less miles than the estimate but they said no credit. I estimsted 50 miles but only drove 33 so I overpaid by 17

The mobile app could isnt the most user friendly, was unable to take pictures during initial inspection to notate the cleanliness of the cab, it was clean but smelled stale cigarette smoke. Also, I am aware mileage is a charge, but when I brought the truck back it had an extra 1/4 tank of fuel than when I picked it up, certainly more than the mileage I went over, feel it should have been considered even at that point, no extra charge.

I wanted a van they gave me a truck even though they had a van available. I found out why after I brought the truck back. It was so they could charge more money per mile. The truck was a total death trap. Worst vehicle I've ever rent. The breaks were grinding terribly. I let the CSR know how upset I was. As I walked out he started shouting obscenities at me. Far as I can see U-Haul at Tailor rental shouldn't be in business

I needed to extend my rental and ask questions and the U-Haul customer service line was awful. Three times I waited on hold over thirty minutes before giving up. It resulted in me getting charged for two extra rental days despite returning the truck on time. Unimpressed
