Actually put the items ordered into the truck and not charge the customer if the people in the U-Haul store do not put the items in the truck

You should give at least half a tank; I gas to go to the gas tank to fill up immediately after picking up the truck. Also, I felt like I needed to run it near empty so I didn't pay for extra gas.

Amanda Y.I am extremely dissatisfied with the service that I received with this company. When I went to pick up my reserved truck the location did not place the keys in the lockbox. I called the company and I did receive the $50 reservation refund in addition to $50 off my rental. When I picked up my uhaul truck the following day the gas tank registered a full tank but within 15 miles it went to a quarter tank but quickly went back to full when I parked. I called roadside assistance and they sent a technician who stated the truck was working properly. When I went to drive to my destination the following day my truck broke down on the interstate within 40 miles of traveling. I was stuck for almost 3 hours in the rain waiting for the technician. When the technician finally came he informed me that uhaul had given me a truck that the gas gauge did not work and I will have to fill up my tank every 100 miles in order to avoid running out of gas. I missed my time frame of picking up my keys to my apartment in addition to losing a deposit on movers due to the extended time. I was I called the following day to Tanya Davis (Uhaul's Arkansas traffic control manager) she told that no additional items could be compensated due to the discounts I received prior to my truck breaking down. She was extremely rude to me and told me that she would not help me. I talked to her manager, Andrew Hicks and he stated, “I am the boss of all Uhaul's in Arkansas†and that he would not help with additional help with Uhaul. They were both not helpful and extremely rude. I have been out of so much money with this situation and it wasn't my fault. I will never recommend this company to anyone.

DeVon F.Ordered online - no equipment in truck when I picked up, drove all the way to the move to find out no equipment. I had to drive back to the lot to pick up equipment costing me an hour out of the moving day. The staff said it was my fault for ordering online. Mirrors didn't work on the truck, scrapes and broken lights on the truck. The check in and pick up process was very inconvenient and not customer friendly took too long and not in sequence to the way the pick up process should be. No one told me I would have to be verified by someone else, at 9am on a Saturday morning no one answers phones from out of state numbers. You had my picture, my drivers license, my credit card that should be enough. NO Discount no nothing - Very poor online experience and in store experience- they acted like it was no bug deal and could care less.

Kimberly M.I think they overcharged me for the truck. They didn't tell me how much it would be until we took the truck back. Which we did not use. Kept it overnight took it back early the next morning I was charged $63 and something not understanding why. Could not get no response from anybody to explain it to me.

Robert P.The truck has clearly been in a front end collision, and was not repaired correctly. Once I picked up the truck I drove it across town and a warning came up on the dash display that read, “Engine oil low! Please add oil now.†I called The U-Haul where I pick up the truck, where I was told, “just buy some oil and put in it and we will reimburse you for it.†After letting the truck sit for a couple of hours, I checked the oil and there wasn't even enough oil in the engine to even show on the dip-stick that is used to check the oil level. The truck had NO OIL IN THE ENGINE!!! At least not any that would register on the dipstick. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! Do you not check these kinds of things before you just let people take off in your trucks!!? What if the engine had seized up while I was driving it? This is a CLEAR case of negligence on Uhauls side of the situation. This Uhaul site gets a grade of F! HUGE FAILURE!!!!

Never got return call and finally caught someone on the phone. Also original pick location didn't have my truck or show up at the South Post store resulting in movers waiting on me at $100 per hour

Harris D.Your website states that if equipment could not be used we would not be charged. The Malibu would have broken the bumper on bottom if put on all the way. Representative was supposed to call me back but did not. Got charged the rental anyway. We wound up having to rent a uhaul car hauler to transport it. Not good business!
STEVEN R.had to call a phone number--no admittance to office. Was told to park the trailer in an empty spot--very little direction given. Wasn't told how they would check in the trailer or how we would know it was even checked in. Location is just over the crest of a hill/crossing over oncoming traffic (coming in from one direction)--accident waiting to happen. If I did recommend this location, I would give directions to come in from Central Avenue (not Higdon Ferry)--which should be an instruction from U-Haul when this location is specified.
