The corporate office took my reservation and secured it with a cc for 8 am the morning of pickup knowing it wouldn't be returned until 9:30. Well I had 3 workers waiting at $25 hr for 1.5 hrs that cost me $112. Then they charged me $429 for a trk and transport that was quoted to me at $279. So I got a trk that was disgustingly nasty 1.5 hrs late that cost me $112 and at 55 mph it shook so bad I had to slow to 50 mph them they charger me $43 for mileage that the trk was over on. They gave me 250 miles knowing it would take 332 miles to drive to my destination. My last U-Haul ever, I will actively discourage people to use them. I'm done with U-Haul. I hope I can keep as many as possible from using you people. People, STAY AWAY go somewhere else just not uhaulRandy B.
When looking for closing time I only saw 7:00. I got there at 4:09 and we were told that the office closed at 4 and the facilities access closed at 7:0]. Thank God that the clerk was still on the grounds because we drove 3 hours to get to this particular uhaul station. I suggest that you put the 2 separate operation hours in 2 different colors for stupid people like me sake. Other than that. Everything was great.STEVEN D.

I reserved my trailer and at the same time purchased ($27.32) a hitch and ball on the UHaul website, since I forgot mine at home. The website said The Good Life Storage had the hitch and ball in inventory. Good Life Storage did not have the hitch and told me I had to work that out with UHaul. I went to another Uhaul dealer and paid $38.27 for the same hitch. I want Uhaul to credit by credit card account for $27.32.JAMES T.

I dropped it off at the 525 N stemmons, lewisville, Tx location. The guy that took the trailer off was rude. I know he could talk only because he stated â€œyou need to help me take this trailer offâ€. Seemed put off to be â€œhelping meâ€ drop the trailer and never said a word even after I said â€œthanksâ€ and â€œhave a great dayâ€.ROBBIE N.

The truck was a piece of junk. It was dirty inside and outside. I had to go to the back of the lot to get the truck and then brush the pine needles and tree branches off.Rae N.

We initially thought a 6x12 enclosed would be best but changed our minds after seeing it and decided to rent the 5x9 utility trailer because it was safer to tow with a Chevy suburban. Your website indicated that the 5x9 was a lower price,but the person at the Good Life Storage did not want to change the paperwork and said we would not be charged until we turned it in. When we turned it in, they acknowledged that we had a 5x9, which cost less than the price for a 6x12 enclosed, but they told us they could not change the price because it was entered in Good Life Storage's computer and told us to call Good Life Storage. We tried to call but no one answered. The overcharge was charged to my credit card and I am disputing it. The woman at Good Life should have voided the first paperwork after we decided on the 5x9 utility trailer. I am not happy about the overcharge and I am not happy with the service at Good Life. I will not recommend Uhaul again if this is not resolved.NANCY ELLEN S.
I orginally was to turn in my trailer at the Temperance Hill location in Hot Springs, AR. I went there and they were open, but were quarantined inside their building. They were only conducting business via phone. As I and another client stood outside the locked door, they needed to pay with a credit card. The Temperance Hill employee simply unlocked the front door and cracked the door enough to reach out and grab their credit card. Most places are using common sense to conduct business. The location in Clarksville allow clients in with tape marks on the floor to stand 6 feet apart which meets the common sense mark. So, Temperance Hill is operating at a level of paranoia which is why I took the trailer to Good Life Storage location. The Good Life Storage location was wonderful.Albert H.

No one available to unhitch trailer from truck so I could unload truck and wouldn't allow me to...had to drive to a couple more locations, neither â€œcertifiedâ€ to remove trailer, but thankfully one on hwy 7 willing to help me to take it off so I could finish my move!Anjoli C.

If you are going to rent big trailers, you should have people there to help connect them to the vehicle....the one we rented was too big for one person to lift. It had a connection that required someone strong to hook up. I, a 69 yr old woman, know a lot about hauling, but was not strong enough to do all of this and had a major incident on the highway. this should be fixed!!!!Jennifer R.

I was suppose to pick it up at S&S Storage. They didn't have it. This place had it. The woman told me she had been trying to get someone to come clean it. The cab stunk like cigerettes and was full of dried mud. The box was filthy and full of broken glass. She did get someone to sweep the glass out so I could use it. This was not this locations fault. It was either S&S Storage or U-haul!Tom D.

The staff was very helpful with my rental. I had to pick up later than originally scheduled, and the staff made sure that my online reservation would not be cancelled while I took my child to the doctor. The equipment was there as promised, and the staff even helped hook it up and unhook it for me as I am not as good at backing a trailer. I would highly recommend this as your place to use for your Uhaul needs if they have the equipment you desire.Kerri H.

The interior truck box was dirty. The office recorded the fuel level at 9/16 tank, even though the fuel was below 1/2. The contract said "No Damage" even though the box had dents and scratches previously marked by a previous rental. PS. We rented this truck because the truck we reserved in Hot Springs Village was not available when promised and we had hired moving crew that were waiting!Randy R.

The original location, Westgate Security Storage in Hot Springs Village, AR didn't even have a truck that was CLOSE to what I needed - it was a 26' & we needed a 15'! We had to ask them to check other locations to see if a 15' was available. A 20' was at Good Life Storage. (BTW: I set up the rental Oct 7! I would definitely NOT recommend Westgate Security Storage!!!)ALBERT B.

Make sure the trucks are in working order! A tutorial of use of thr vehicle,window wipers that work would be nice,a credit card machine that works so we do not have to go to the Bank and pay Cash for our rental,a follow up call,competent employees WHO actually understand the problem you have when stuck on the side of a road and know how to give specific instruction to dispach. The ladies at this location made my drop off easier. My original drop off was 30 minutes away from my new home, which I would have had no way to return to my home, and no idea how to get there as I was in a new state. She phoned the original drop off location and made it happen. EXCELLENT customer service!DAVID S.
I wanted a 6x12 unit but none could be located in the Hot Springs, AR area. The next morning I was driving on Albert Pike Road and saw an UHaul Location with three of them parked in his lot. I believe someone messed up in your Little Rock Central Dispatch Office.Joseph D.
This was the poorest experience with U-Haul I have ever had. I reserved the trailer after learning I needed to move my mother from her assisted living facility. The hours were represented to me that I could pick up as late as 5:45. I decided to pick up and load early and went to find the location closed. After calling I was told they had closed at noon. When calling U-Haul again I was informed that the clerk had closed early to attend a football game. Fortunately, they allowed me to complete the contract over the phone and take the trailer outside of the fence. I did not have the ability to rent any other needed items such as furniture pads to assist with the move. I had to purchase these at my expense someplace else.garland B.
