I put 11 miles on the vehicle I rented. I filled it up with gas before I returned it, as I was supposed to. I put over $14 worth of gas in the vehicle, that's more than 3 gallons of gas to ho 11 miles. The vehicle was obviously not full when I checked it out. The clerk did not seem ti care at it. I almost feel like I was scammed. If would have put put more miles on the vehicle, I would not have noticed that I was being cheated.David B.

I picked a location on Englewood Rd in Venice, Florida. However, when I went there to drop-off the truck, I was told I could not, and had to go to this location. That was again unprofessional.Bruce S.

After I parked the truck at my house to unload, the truck would not start again. The steering wheel seemed locked in place, and I could not turn the ignition key. Thus it would not start up again. After many hours later, a mechanic friend suggested to turn the steering wheel very hard to the left to see if that allowed the ignition key to turn on, It worked. I am led to believe that this has been an issue for GMC vehicles,John T.

We rented a 20 foot truck and for uhaul to call it a 20 foot truck you had to count the space above the drivers compartment which is only 2 feet high. So in reality it is really only about a 16 foot truck. Very deceptive. The radio was also non-functional and an a four hour trip it was very annoying. The personnel was very good.Fredrick S.

Train your employees, need better communication skills. I did everything online, including uploading drivers license, adding authorized driver, checking in, and paying in advance. She said the U-Haul system doesn't actually save that information, which I knew was wrong, so I had to go through another 30 minutes at the counter repeating everything. I got home and checked my credit card statement and found I had indeed already paid for the reservation, so I called her back to make sure I didn't get double charged. She told me â€˜oh yeah, I finally found your reservation and payment record but I just didn't say anything, guess I should've told you'.Susan R.

The two Ladies that were working on May 1st 2021needs a rein check! They were very rude and were not helpful at all. Rohan I think one of their names were along with her supervisor. They gave me a truck on half tank of fuel and not knowing better I was thinking it was supposed to be that way. Hours of operation.....need to be later than 1pm on a Saturday. Original drop off location was changed, probably 15 miles further. Only on spot to park along fence as instructed. If that had been full, I would have no idea where to have parked the truck. Lucky I guess.MICHAEL T.

the steering wheel coating was disintegrating and was crumbling in my hand while driving. maybe put a steering wheel cover on it. It took longer to do mobile pick up due to not very good cell service at this location. had to walk around until I picked up wifi to complete the pick up process. not much can be done about that, more of a FYI.Cristina M.

Horrible. I not only filled the gas tank once, but I stopped a second time to put in $6 to refill to FULL. They charged me for damages although there was none. I stopped and bought a broom and dust pan, just to make everything perfect. I moved only moved 2 aquariums.Richard B.

Opened at 9. Got there a little early and door was locked, looked in window and saw a person behind counter. She also saw me. I was waiting outside at a waiting area table, at some time she unlocked door but did not tell me. I tried door again and it was unlocked. She should have come outside and told me they were open. When it came time to choose insurance her words were " If there is any damage you will have to pay cash, no insurance, no credit card." Is that U-Hauls policy?STEWART A.

Equipment was clean and well maintained with the exception of it reeked of smoke from a previous renter. I like the rental process from my smart device, but you need to widen the GEO location parameters. The truck was parked at one end of the business, which is a fenced in storage facility. When standing by the truck, the map showed my location correctly, but it said I wasn't at the business. I had to walk across the parking lot and stick my arm through the fence with the phone to get it close enough to the business for your app to accept it.Tim L.

Charged for 24 covers only asked and use only 1. Asked for 17 ft truck said uhaul doesn't have any and website there are they changed on my reservation had to make 2 trips because of that cost for extra work hours for movers help. Never use againNancy C.
