Let me people know when they make the reservations online that they need to complete the pick up information before they arrive to pick up the rental. it took us 45 minutes to get approval and all necessary items completed. Time and money lost.

I was sent to a different pick up than where the reservation was made. It took more than 3 extra hours of my time to pick up. I had people waiting to load the truck who had taken time off work to help me. I was charged twice to rent the truck and trailer and did not get a refund. The drop off location refunded a $20 fee that should not have been charged.

When I inquired about renting the truck, I was informed that the cost would be approximately $130. Since that sounded reasonable, I rented it. When I returned the truck, I was told that I would receive an email with the total. No email was received. When I recently received my Visa bill, I was stunned to see I had been charged $224.64, almost $100 more than had been quoted! I am outraged! I would have opted for another means to move the items had this number been quoted originally. I consider this unethical and unprofessional of U-Haul.

Employee did not know anything about online rentals. Answered the phone multiple time and stopped in the middle of helping me to talk to another employee about a different matter. This was supposed to be a in and out pickup, that’s why I did it online. I was in store atleast 30 minutes

I WAS GIVEN ALL POSSIBLE COURTESIES! I HAD CALLED AHEAD FROM ANOTHER TOWN THAT DID NOT HAVE PICKUP TRUCKS AND I HAD USED THIS LOCATION BEFORE SO I CALLED AND THEY HAD ONE AND HELD IT 1-1/2 HOURS FOR ME TO GET THERE. I WOULD DEFFINITELY USE THEM AGAIN!

This location was great. U-haul corporate and the web site is the worst I have ever dealt with. The web site changed several times as to if the equipment I had would work or not, The customer service people I talked to were much less the friendly and knowledgeable. If it wasn't for Tryon Mini Storage I would never use U-haul again, and would not recommend it to anybody. You people in corporate need to get your act together.

I rented a 6'x12' trailer w/ ramp to carry a tractor with 60" mower. Shouldn't be a problem right? Upon pickup I ensured width of trailer is 6'. Every trailer I have ever seen has a ramp that opens to a back that is same width as trailer. These trailers do not and you don't realize until you open gate. It has two metal flange supports on either side so the opening for the 6' trailer is less than 5'. I didn't know this until I had driven trailer 45 min to pick up tractor. I called store to let them know and was like why didn't you give me a heads-up as they knew I was carrying a tractor. They said they didn't know SMH. I drove all the way back the next morning. The manager glared at me and didn't offer any help in unloading trailer. As a courtesy I told him the whole situation and that I had requested a refund because I was unable to use the trailer as intended. The manager proceeded to yell at me and question why I was trying to take their money. They wasted my time, gas driving back and forth, I was unable to get my work done, and were extremely rude. I question the workers that helped me upon pickup too. Poorly designed trailer as well. I mean who uses a 6'x12' trailer with only a 57" opening!? Do not use this company.

Honor your word. I was told I would NOT be charged for a 3rd day fir bringing the van back at 8:30 pm - 4 hrs later than I rented it for. Yet I was charged. I’ve emailed twice and yet no response then you have the nerve to ask for a review? Well I won’t do business with people who lie and/or don’t respond to customer service issues.

Too many steps in the uhaul online process. Weak programming and cumbersome prompting of steps. Upon return Entering mileage on phone is cumbersome and does not prompt you about decimal and is looking for an entree of 10ths of miles. It would not let us enter 118654. The odometer does not show tenths of miles on the truck. The “tell us your location” on my phone when dropping off is a debacle. The same local location to drop off as pickup Could not confirm my location, which was pre established at office by the way, so process to close out drop off could not be done on a Sunday afternoon when office was closed. I had to email uhaul link to another persons phone to be able to “ continue" close out of drop off. Please invest on streamlining this.

I was charged $10.00 for pads I didn't ask for or need. I was charged $10.00 for the dolly. I expected to pay $7.00 since that is what is labled on the dolly.

From the initial delivery of the empty containers to the final delivery to my new home, I found this experience to be the best way to handle a self service move. There is so much flexibility in the amount of time you get to fill/empty the containers. And if I didn’t initially estimate the time it would take correctly, everyone on both ends was more than happy to accommodate any change or request. Most importantly, everyone did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it. This is a rare commodity in today’s world.

Allow some lead way we were stuck behind what looked like a fatal car accident and were stuck in traffic we got to the turn in facility and they charged me for another whole day and the amount was 74.00 the rental was turned in at 1: o’clock. At the time of pick up we were told that we had until 2/20 (48) hours to drop off the truck at the location provided in Raleigh . However we requested 24 hours. Yet when we dropped off the truck at the location provided (the next day (2/19). The man mentioned to us that we dropped it of on time . This was confusing but glad that we did not rely on the initial 2/20 drop off Day that we were given.
