I tried doing my check in using the U-haul app. The reservation part of the app was very smooth. When I tried to check in using the app, it just stalled for at least 15 minutes and kept saying that it was processing the order. I went inside to Westside Muffler and explained to them the app wasn't working and was told that once I started the process with the app, they couldn't do anything. My ex wife was there with me and logged into the web page and on her phone and finished the check in/out. In my opinion, the app could be more user friendly.Roger C.

They were very helpful on the return. I went there in the beginning to have them set up the rental. Since I was renting from another town and only returning it to this place they would not help me. We had to go to the rental store 2 hours away to set up the rental.angela A.

The one thing that we had a problem with, there were two long scratches on each side of the uhaul. They were not marked as already being there, and they were. If we had not purchased the insurance, this would have been a problem.Michaela H.

Went to pickup at 8 am, nobody was present at the location. It wasn't until around 8:15 that someone (assuming it was another worker? Wasn't told who he was) said that the person in charge of handing out uhaul trucks was not coming in that day. We spent 20 more minutes on the phone with uhaul customer service explaining how to do contactless pick up and online check in. This information would have been nice to know ahead of time, rather than 20 minutes past the time we were supposed to pick up the truck. This put us about an hour behind our moving schedule which was not ideal. Westside Muffler was not a help at all. Will not be using their services again and will tell people to not go there.Taylor C.

We had issues with the U Haul app which caused 30 minute delay in getting the truck and that time was shortened only because the staff came out to help the process. The app took 10 minutes to come back and say the the Driver's license was too dark. That is unacceptable. If we had picked up the truck during off hours, not sure if we would have gotten the truck. On return of truck we skipped the app and went inside. The app needs serious attention. I will never recommend it. During COVID-19 I thought the 24/7 app would be the safest route. Just was not prepared for the added mileage to the location on the west side of Indianola which i hadn't accounted for. I drove there to drop my car off so it involved extra mileage for three trips. Overall ok but I should have checked at the beginning to see if they would extend the mileage allowanceElisa C.

Keys were left in the 24/7 box for us but the website you had to use to get the code to the box was so slow that it took us nearly an hour just to pick up the keys/truck. Other than that, I was very happy with the truck and service.Patty D.

The U-Haul that we have been renting needs a few repairs. The side mirror does not stay out once adjusted and the key does not work ion the drivers side door. You have to open from the inside on the passenger side. This vehicle has been like this for at least the last 6 months.Barbara B.

The outside of the truck was pretty muddy, but we've had a lot of rain recently. The bed of the truck was spotless, but the cab was a bit dirty, looked like food and drink had been spilled. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to clean the cab or outside of the truck since I did not create the mess. I did the best I could with the time I had. The check out process was quick and simple, Brice was friendly and helpful, showed me how to work everything, loaded the dolly for me. Great customer support.SALLY T.
