My husband and I have been waiting to rent a medium unit at this facility for quite some time. We already have a medium unit and a small unit. Both we are renting monthly and have been doing that for quite some time. When I inquired about renting a medium unit one was rented there was no indication that this was a split unit meaning I’m actually renting two small units. Nowhere was that information communicated. I could’ve been contacted by the office at any point in time. So yesterday when my movers arrived at U-Haul to place furniture in a medium unit only to find out we have two smaller units there was only one young lady on the premises for customer service on a Saturday. I don’t know how that was supposed to work but for me it did not work. I want to add that moving is stressful enough when it’s done correctly I am facing a major health challenge and my husband is in rehab. Therefore, I am a older woman trying to accomplish a task and paying people to do it because of the issue yesterday my move was an additional 45 minutes to an hour more than what it should’ve been. I did not want to rent two small units. I still do not want two small units. Since there was no other options and my movers were there, my property is now split into two units and when a medium becomes available, I will be moving out of there now who’s going to pay for my Property to remove to the correct Storage Unit U-Haul? I would not have rented anything from you yesterday and would’ve postponed my move like I have done previously if there were no medium units available I would really like an explanation from Rodney Jenkins, the manager.
