Kathleen A | First ImpressionsI had things in storage here for over 6 years. More than one unit at times. This low cost storage alternative helped me get back onto my feet again. Having an indoor, climate controlled, 24/7 security and access was a lot of peace of mind and super convenient. I also found this location more affordable than anywhere else! Overall the experience was fantastic. If you've been to enough of these places you know to be patient, as the service process takes time. With that said, any and all issues were resolved without difficulty. Over time I bore witness to management always trying to keep the place clean and conduct upgrades/repairs as necessary. Keeping clean after people moving all day can't be easy, especially the bathroom - so the constant effort was appreciated. Of note at the beginning of my stay, was the fact that the floor entrances weren't exactly level with the door thresholds, so your stuff would easily bump off your cart going in and out of the main doors. I remember making a comment about it and soon after alterations were made, much improving the experience! Moving sucks so it is nice to know they hear and understand comments/complaints and are willing to address them. It is also cool that they have a little space to leave unwanted household items, I have both donated and collected out of there, and saw more than one charitable organization coming and benefitting people who need from this; seniors and low income folks. My only suggestion for future upgrades would be to find a way to extend the entrance roof so it drips/ices onto the parking lot and not the sidewalk, but I KNOW that is a huge undertaking much more so than floor leveling - so if these conditions exist my alternate suggestion is to wear a jacket and move fast! After arriving and paying for and unloading all my possessions found out the storage unit I was rented already was full of someone else's belongings. They told me they had no more indoor units, and proceeded to put me in a unit OUTSIDE away from their location. Then they increased my rent. Today I went to move out and had to shovel snow for 1/2 just to get access. I'll never use uhaul again.

sharon w | Overall ExperienceUpon arrival, we got a storage unit and when we got to it, it had a tag on it saying you cannot enter due to non payment. The man came and unlocked it and I asked "there wont be anything in there?" And he said no, its for the homeless. So he drove away and we opened it and it had other people's empty boxes and ripped chairs in it. So we emptied it and swept it. Definitely someone wasn't paying to store that in a 15' storage unit. Also, we're going to charge $58 for a 1/4 tank under what it was supposed to be even with that inconvenience AND the truck would not turn on after gas ups while driving from Abbotsford to Edmonton. It had to cool down before we could even drive again.

Booo on uhaul or you rob
