Great experience the whole time. I had previously called a month prior to my arrival to inquire about a parking space for my husband's project car. We drove all the way from Texas for relocation and we were welcomed by Sherry. She made this stressful time so less stressful. She got us set up and out fast. I was even able to leave the Auto transporter there as well which was so much more convenient for us after our 18 hr drive up. It was a hot day and she offered the family and I water and ice pops. Great experience. Thank you Sherry for being such an amazing human being and helping us to the capacity you did. 5 star service!

Daissy G | ReservationI just want to share my experience today, because honestly… it was terrible, and I’m still a little shaken up. A few days ago, I rented a U-Haul truck and also booked a storage unit through U-Haul. I was supposed to return the truck today by 11 AM, and everything should have gone smoothly — but it turned into a complete nightmare. I was given an access code — 04313 — which was sent to me twice, both in my app and email. But when I arrived and tried to get in the gate, the code wouldn’t work. I stood there trying it over and over again for almost an hour. I called customer service, got transferred multiple times, and even tried using their chatbot, which was completely useless. It felt like no one could or even wanted to help me. Eventually, someone who happened to be leaving the facility let me in, and I was finally able to get my stuff into the storage unit that was assigned to me. But it didn’t end there. When I tried to leave — I was stuck. The gate wouldn’t open unless I entered the same code, and again… it didn’t work. I was literally trapped inside a locked facility, and no one could help me. I called customer service again, waited, got bounced around, and all they could say was, “Call the police.” Are you serious?? I was panicking. I felt helpless. I even emailed the storage location twice, but there’s no after-hours number, no one on-site, no safety net. I was locked in for another hour — until someone else randomly showed up to get in, and that was the only way I was able to get out. This whole experience has been beyond stressful. I was already under pressure trying to make sure the U-Haul was returned on time — I had to call and extend my rental twice just because of access issues they caused. And now I’m sitting here worried, like, are they going to charge me extra? Penalize me for something that wasn’t even my fault? And the worst part is… my stuff is still in that storage unit. I have to go back. And honestly? I’m scared this will happen again. I don’t feel safe, I don’t feel supported, and now I’m dreading the day I have to move out for good — because guess what? I’ll have to rent another U-Haul. But how can I trust them after this? This experience made me feel trapped, ignored, and like my time, money, and well-being meant nothing. I’ve got screenshots, emails, everything. I really hope U-Haul sees this — because no one deserves to be treated this way.

Laura C | ReservationThe check in dashboard at he facility did not work. The phone to connect to a representative at the facility did not work. The smell in the storage unit was disgusting but I did not have a choice but to leave my furniture. If the furniture smells like that when I go to retrieve it a complaint will be filed. The representative who answered my cell call to get help was amazing and I would not have been able to complete the drop off or completion of the rental unit without her. Kudos to her for being the only positive part of this transaction.

My only recommendation would be to raise the key pads at the entrance/exit for people in trucks. They currently sit so low that I had to get out of my truck to reach them.
