Everyone at the Fairway Road location was incredible from the very start. Karen helped me book the right locker for my needs, and got me set up for check-in. Brandee and Jason directed me through the check-in process so I could take advantage of a special (& awesome!) new promotion; and Milly helped me with several questions I had when I actually first moved in. The security on site is excellent - cameras everywhere, and the gate requires sign-in AND sign-out, which is awesome. Access hours are super flexible, as are office hours. This will continue to be my first choice for storage & vehicle rentals; not only due to a previous negative experience elsewhere, but becuase of the continued excellence from each employee at the Fairway Road U-Haul.

I used U-Haul located at: 555 Fairway Road S in Kitchener, ON for a couple of years circa 2013 to 2015 before moving out west. Brandee & Jason the site's managers were/are incredible. I knew my items were safe & secure in their facility under their watch. So, when I moved back to ON & to Mississauga, I took a chance Brandee & Jason were still operating 555 Fairway in Kitchener. I was delighted to discover they still managed the facility. Despite now living in Mississauga, which is a good one-hour or more drive from Kitchener, I chose to store my items there because of Brandee & Jason's professional running of that U-Haul location & their amazing customer service record as well as that of their staff. It is worth the lengthy drive to be worry-free & know my possessions are safe in their keep. It is worth the distance because I get to deal with amazing folk who know how to treat their customers. It is worth the time & fuel & wear & tear on my vehicle because I know the grounds & units are clean & well maintained. Yes, I can have auto pay but I need regular access to my belongings as I need to downsize & then I will be most likely a permanent fixture with one or two smaller heated sheds (I have a heap of totes & items for Christmas etc. that will require ongoing storage as I will access them for the holidays then put them back in storage, etc.). I would give Brandee & Jason & staff at U-Haul at 555 Fairway in Kitchener a 10/5. Yes. Bonus stars for exceptional service — which, these days seems to be getting rarer. They know well how to treat customers, best represent U-Haul & how to maintain the facilities & have staff that mirror their values. That makes the drive worth it.
