Frances G | First ImpressionsPicking up the U-Haul truck in Fresno was simple and professional. I spoke with the manager Keith and he helped me setup a return location for the truck I rented. I arrived to the drop off location at Arapahoe in Los Angeles and the manger Maria was very unprofessional and rude!!?? My drop off was at 7:15am. I was there at 6:30am before Maria and anyone except an other worker that had took the keys to the truck and parking it to check it in at 6:58am. Maria took two customers that came in after me that made me wait past my 7:15am drop off time. Maria then tries to charge me for an extra day on the truck rental? I then called U-haul customer service and they looked into everything and had her reverse the charge while I waited. Maria was very upset and confrontational?? I have been using U-Haul for around 40 years and will continue due to the overall ratio of people at U-Haul were great!

La S | Overall ExperienceI have been using storages for years. I recently had a public storage and a Derels Mini Storage. I rented a U-Haul truck this week from Fresno to LA. All went well but when I got to my truck drop off destination it was a problem! I set up the return for the Arapahoe Los Angeles location with the Fresno U-Haul truck pick up with the manager there named Keith. He was very helpful and we chose the Arapahoe location to return the truck. I then drove to LA and emptied the truck. I then called the Arapahoe location the night before stopped and spoke to the manager there Maria Cash. She said that all is well to return there. The next day I arrived early at 6:30am because my drop off was at 7:15am. When I arrived a man took my keys at 7:00 am sharp and backed the truck in. I approached the desk and “Maria Cash” was just in the worst mood and had a very bad attitude?? She did help me with getting a new storage rental unit after making me wait for two other customers that I was in front of?? Anyway the bottom line is that after she made me wait after all of them she said now I was past my delivery time and that she is taking an extra day out of my deposit. I noticed a weird I professionalism so I had u haul customer service on the line the whole time for one hour! U-Haul customer service was very professional and after reviewing all the details customer service was not going to allow this location to do this to me. Thank goodness! Well customer service lady had Maria reverse the extra charges. However I was there for over three hours. Maria said that she would send me a receipt to my email showing the correct charges but after two days I still did not receive my final receipt email? So I have been using only U-Haul the name my family has always trusted. I do need a storage unit again but I’m not sure if I trust U-Haul after this!? Customer service did reinstall my faith in U-Haul but my wife is very upset in how I treated for NO reason. This is one of the worst times in life I have been treated so badly as a customer that has paid in full for services. Thank you
