I have rented two trucks in the last 2 months from 420 Eastern Ave Malden, Ma. The employee there named Noah is/was great. Moving is stressful enough and Noah and Uhaul made this much easier for me. I would definitely recommend Uhaul, made my move much smoother
LAUREN M | First ImpressionsMy experience was terrible. I had to move planned for August 2nd. I stopped there 2 days before and went to storage. Put the money down for 2 months $300 and something dollars went to move August 2nd and movers were great. They go out there and a woman called me from U-Haul Malden Nash and they said she said I couldn't get in. They put a circular lock on it and I would need my own locksmith or the company locksmith and either way she said they may not be here today. So your truck the truck may have to stay loaded for the evening which meant I would have paid facility and it was even worse. So I mean moving stressful enough. I mean when things don't go smooth that you don't plan for it, it can send somebody. I hope you all can come together me with some kind of an agreement here cuz my stuff is 8 mi away when it should be a walk down the street. This is ridiculous what I went through I was waiting for two calls back one from the mall to manager and the other one from Manny her boss and neither one of them. I have to call me back. richard r | Overall ExperienceNo RAMPS! How are you in the moving business and dont think to add ramps to your facility!!?! Staff is trash, seldom, and rarely at desk when needed. The intercom/doorbell doesn’t work or so the employee claimed. A staff member might be there but there’s no body home. The poor costumer service is why I took all my stuff out of storage and closed my account. Terrible, terrible, terrible place. So bad, that when I was waiting for so long as others came to book a truck, I told them how much this place sucks and they’re better off going to the uhaul up the street.
emely m | Overall ExperienceEli was very friendly and tried his best to help us, going so far as to stay late in order to help us out and showing us how to access the unit when we were confused. I truly have no complaints with him. However, he was new on the job and under-trained. He did not know how ro answer basic questions about the size of units, nor could his manager when he phoned her. I rented a 4'x10'x10' unit, assuming that these referred to the length, width, and height of the locker. When I arrived, the unit was 6' tall. The deceptive advertising of a 10' tall unit meant I had to rent a different unit at a greater cost. It was simply impossible to fit all of our belongings in the smaller-than-advertised unit. Nowhere on the U-Haul website is it made clear that a "10' tall" unit could be as short as 6'. I am extremely dissatisfied with the lack of clarity regarding the size of units, and I will not be renting storage here again.
