DAVID B | First ImpressionsThis is my 4th time using Uhaul service and storage. They are consistently wonderful and easy to process any service. Managers and Johnny were very accommodating to what I was seeking.
DOROTHY D | First ImpressionsThe building was clean, staff were helpful (though lean). The review is for the parking lot. It is atrocious. Not cleaned at all. No parking because of trucks and people who left their vehicles (to rent a truck), up to the dock. Just to get to the dock, which the spots not cleaned, I almost fell (my friend grabbed my arm because of the ice) and the uneven ground. Staff could have shoveled it out so we could use the facility or put salt.

I have complained twice being told the general manager will investigate and contact me. It’s going on two weeks and no action. I have been conveniently forgotten about from my perspective.

Couldn't be more happier with the facility and their customer service. Only thing I recommend is, fix the automatic door keep opening and shutting by itself, not triggered and happens even after store hour which may impede on security.

JILL N | Overall ExperienceWe were moving out of the storage unit to move our things to Wisconsin. We were billed for the new month of our storage on the 16th of the month. We finished moving out on the 17th. When I called the store to see if we would receive ANY portion of the rent refunded for the 29 days that we didn’t use the CSR all but laughed at me, and said he would have the manager call me. The manager never called. I called Uhaul customer service. The rep said he would escalate the request to the store manager to see if there’s anything else they can do since any refund would be at the discretion of the store manager. I received an email from the store manager that said “we do not provide refunds in the middle of the month“. I’m certain the fine print in your contract, (that nobody ever reads, including you), states there are no prorated refunds. However, it is at the discretion of the store manager, and we are talking about using the storage for one day out of 30. Zero refund is unacceptable and less than what I would expect from a company such as Uhaul. Uhaul has always been my number one go too for moving and storage. I’ve always been happy to recommend Uhaul. After this experience, Uhaul will never get another recommendation from me and my business will be going elsewhere in the future. PS: We rented a cargo trailer from the same location to move our things to Wisconsin. The transaction to rent the cargo trailer should have taken 10 or 15 minutes. The inexperienced and untrained rep at the counter was a disaster. It took us nearly an hour to complete the transaction to rent the cargo trailer. The rep did not even know what an enclosed cargo trailer was. And even though I made it clear multiple times that we wanted the cargo trailer as a one-way rental to Wisconsin the rep insisted several times that I needed to return the trailer to a local Uhaul in Manassas, Virginia, and wanted to know which location in Manassas I would be returning the cargo trailer too. Finally after 45 minutes an experienced CSR showed up and finished the trailer rental.
