How U-Haul Reviews WorkI had a very disappointing experience with Hailey at U-Haul who's working at reception I booked a storage unit online, and during the booking process, there was no clear information indicating that there would be a duct inside the storage unit. Because of this duct, the actual usable space in my storage unit is smaller than I expected. When I raised my concern, Hailey did not handle the situation professionally. She did not seem to have proper knowledge of how to approach or communicate with a customer. Instead of calmly listening and trying to explain the situation, she raised her voice in front of other customers, which made me feel embarrassed and humiliated. I explained that nothing during the online booking process mentioned the duct or that it would reduce the usable space in the unit. However, I was told that nothing could be done. I was offered an upgrade, but only if I paid additional money. What was even more disappointing was that I was given a paper and told to email the manager, Vanessa. Haley also told me that Vanessa would likely say the same thing and that it was basically my mistake. I believe customers deserve to be treated with respect and professionalism. Raising your voice at a customer in front of other customers and making them feel humiliated is not acceptable customer service. I hope management reviews this situation, improves communication regarding storage unit details during online booking, and provides proper customer service training on how to approach and deal with customers respectfully.

I had a storage unit there had to deal with her several times. Don't know how I could have put such bad luck at the counter. There are other employees, but I just never got them. As for the rest of the place have no problems.
