I'm so sorry that it caught on fire the staff was very friendly and I was the lucky one who didn't lose her stuff but I'm sorry for the other ones and for U-Haul losing part of their building it was a clean and secure building from my opinion only problem was I came several times doing the months before the fire and no one be in the office a couple of us that was paying on our storages or trying to get a truck was complaining every time I came sometimes you have to go outside to go find someone but otherwise it's a good place they need to just work on someone in that office all times they are a great staff thank you.

And now you have ruined me for ever putting anything in storage ever again. I am sick over this & cannot get over any irreplaceable & sentimental things I've lost. The only good part of all this was the insurance I had paid out very quickly.

Looked at you like you were a dummy for not knowing the correct procedure or routine. Plus - my belongings were destroyed in a fire. Still waiting to determine whether it was due to U-Haul negligence.
Jose M | Overall ExperienceThe biggest problem I have with this facility is the incredible lack of communication after a fire on January 21, 2026 in which apparently our unit was destroyed. It is beyond insulting to receive an email, text and letter indicating I owe an additional late fee and then when I called to be told that I will continue to receive these late notices, which I would like in writing. I was not happy when I received an additional email stating my account was in the pre lien status and I would likely be charged $50 processing fee to clear the charge. I understand that a fire is a big deal to the facility, but something in writing to say these ridiculous charges are due to automatic accounting and I can ignore these without these going to collection. If you can email me to say I owe a late fee and maybe a processing fee, you can email me with something official about these fees being taken care of. There is nothing on the website with information on the status of the burned units. This is shameful for a company such as UHaul

TERRY K | Overall ExperienceI can’t believe I’m being asked to rate this move out. Most of this facility burned down and I still have not seen my unit. The staff at the Walker’s Point facility itself have been as helpful as they can be, but UHaul corporate has told me very little information, and I still have not received a refund of my last month’s rent (I paid a few days before the fire broke out, and was told I would most likely be receiving this). I would be very pleased to receive a refund of my last month’s rent, at very least the prorated portion after the fire, as I had zero access to my unit at that point.
