My overall experience with U-Haul storage has been average, mainly due to their rigid billing and refund policies. I had three storage units and cleared 2 of the storage units out, but I was only able to do so two days after my automatic monthly payment was charged. Unfortunately, U-Haul does not prorate or offer any form of refund, even when the units are vacated immediately after billing. In today’s economy, this policy feels unreasonable and unfair to customers. It’s disappointing that a company as large as U-Haul provides no flexibility and leaves customers paying for time they aren’t using. I consider this a poor business practice and something consumers should be aware of. Because of this experience, I will not be renting storage units etc... from U-Haul again. While the units themselves were fine and other services, the billing policy overshadowed everything else. I hope U-Haul reevaluates this approach, but as it stands, this is unacceptable.JUST another RIP OFF COMPANY! And I am going to make sure other reviews on other posts are going to be done about this topic as well.
