Why why why. Would you rent me a 26 foot uhaul. Knowing I could not drive in the my storage unit!!! What should have been about one hour. Took over 8 hours. I had to go to uhaul rental and rent another 15 foot because it’s the only size that would fit at the storage space. I had to unload my 26 foot in to a 15 foot then drive back to unload in a 10 x10 x10 space that was only 8 x 8 by 10 tall. And they told me it was big enough for a 3 bedroom. If it was a doll house maybe!!! Very upset and most likely never going to use uhaul again. What a mess. I would like a refund on my rentals! I had to rent from another storage place to fit the rest of my belongings!! And I’m no spring chicken anymore. How could this of happened There should be some kind of warning at the unit. Not only did the 26 foot not fit around the building. Nor would a 20 foot!!! So guess how many times I had to load and reload the 15 foot. And on one of the hottest days on record. The staff a the uhaul where very nice but booking should have known that you can’t drive a 20 or 26 foot truck in the storage space. Booooooo

you need to up to date your place. there is no direction inside storage numbers so difficult to find. Your gate is to old and slow open need to upgrade.

Phone number just went to the general U Haul line and no one from U Haul could get a hold of manager or staff using alternate numbers. Finally U Haul staff were able to determine there was another office location miles away. (This should have been stated via a sign on the abandoned office at the storage unit or via phone call before move in day) I went to the other location, just to find out they needed a manager to honor the one month free but they could not reach the manager. Not able to wait around for hours- I was paying people by the hour to help move and already wasted an hour trying to get into the unit- I paid and will now have to follow up with the manager that apparently neither staff nor U Haul can reach. Unacceptable.

Shicociya T | Overall ExperienceI reserved a unit at 900 N Lombardy, their system was down…they told me this after they walked around the whole building looking for vacant units for about an 2 hours. The staff was also extremely frustrated that the vacant units were labeled as “occupied” and vice versa. After 2 hours he finally told me to call a number where I reserved this one; I originally reserved an 8x8x8 but was forced to purchase a $135 larger unit because they had nothing left. I went to the storage area I was told, then searched and found the office to FINALLY obtain an adequate employee who helped me access the unit. It was extremely inconvenient, and I was forced to pay $135 when I reserved a $100 unit at a more convenient location over a week beforehand. I was told by the person over the phone at corporate that they would leave a note abating my payment to the original $100 I had planned to pay, but was still charged $135, and I absolutely needed the unit immediately. We lost several needed hours AND money. Probably the worst experience I’ve ever had with any company, I’m still waiting for my $35 back.

Even my mover knew who I was speaking about when I told him what was going on. Interesting choice person to represent your brand as a manager.

TRACIE R | First ImpressionsI booked online which was easy. I arrived at the address in the email and the facility is not staffed. I called a number I found on the door. They told me I needed to drive over to a different office. This wasn’t explained anywhere and was very inconvenient on moving day. The woman behind the counter was so annoyed at everyone and everything. She was really mean to the other employee and it made me feel uncomfortable. The man working that day was nice and helpful but left out a lot of key information about my unit.

The female representative was very hostile. She kept cutting me off as I was speaking. They gave me the run around the entire time. I don't feel like I should've gotten charge for extended truck rental, it was their fault.
