Horrible experience! Will NEVER use this company again! First, we were assured our truck was ready for pick up. On route to the location, we were re-routed across town due to our original location NOT having a truck available. Then, at the secondary location, the clerk forced my 17 year old grandson into illegally signing the contract while his father... the primary and ONLY driver was checking on the truck itself. When I called to complain, as I am the one who reserved and paid for the truck, I was assured a manager WOULD contact me within 48 hours. The clerk, who was nice also issued me a refund for the rental cost. I am still out the .99 per mile, but I did get my item home so that's something. But the manager never did contact me. I've dealt with U-Haul for over 40 years with mostly successful encounters. This is so disappointing. I'm done.Benjamin O.

The Attendant I delt with was awful. I walked in and the TV hanging on the wall was blaring. They tried to talk to me over the loud music. Finally decided to turn down the tv so we could actually communicate. They asked me my phone number to verify the rental and provide the the key. I had to give them my number 3 times as they really weren't interested in what I was saying. I also said that my vehicle I was assigned was blocked in by other vehicles. They said â€œummmm we have to move everything to get it out.â€ Then looked at me like I was an idiot. Once they got the vehicle unblocked. They literally just tossed the keys and walked away. I will never rent from this location again. Possibly budget rental next time. So frustrating.James M.
The van that we rented smelled horrible to the point where if I didn't absolutely need it I wouldn't even rented it it was completely dirty there's paperwork left in there from a previous runner which just goes to show that no one ever actually clean the vehicle there was stuff all over the seat to where I had to put a towel down just to be able to sit on it. I would absolutely not recommend this to a friend. However the running process was very easy the lady who helped us was very courteous.JENNIFER R.

The process for online pick up was pretty ridiculous. The point of online pick up is to not have to interact with another person, but I had to go inside the store to get the key. I confirmed everything on my phone, but I didn't know that I was supposed to make sure everything was confirmed inside as well and boy, I wish I had. Randall, the first live chat rep I had was very short and dismissive. The first thing they said to me was that my alternate contact didn't answer. First of all, noone told me they were immediately going to try to call the person, if I would have known that, I would have let them know As soon as I got to my first location, the check engine light turned on. And the kicker to this entire experience, when I returned to the store, the in person lady processing my return said I needed to fill the gas to the 7/8 mark right below full. When I got the truck, the gas gauge was right above a quarter of a tank and I even confirmed this on the website when I picked up the truck. Of course there is no way for me to see this confirmation now that I have been approved to get the truck. I end up having to pay 80 DOLLARS IN GAS because the system inside the store is different than the system I used to reserve the damn truck in the first place and she can't see that I confirmed the gas gauge on her computer. Let me reiterate to make sure we understand, I DROVE THIS TRUCK FOR 42.5 MILES AND I HAD TO PAY 80 DOLLARS IN GAS If you guys really want to rectify my experience, you, U-Haul, not the convenience store, could refund the 80 dollars I had to spend to give a truck more gas than I used, but I'm sure that won't happen since you have already have my moneyKelley H.
The inside of the truck where you drive was dusty and dirty it didn't look like it was cleaned or wipe down or anything so I'm really hoping I don't catch the covid-19 because of the dirtiness of that truck I don't think they disinfected anyting it didn't clean itJENNY R.

This locations is a gas station that also rents UHaul's. One person to handle gas customers, store purchases and UHaul rentals. I felt bad for the lady running the store that afternoon. We had to find the trailer ourselves, pull it forward to hook it up then stop in front so she could take a picture of how we hitched the trailer. But first we had to wait in line again to get her to come outside to take the picture. Not a good setup for a UHaul rental facility.KIM F.
The gas was on empty, I put in 12 gallons and only used about 6. Wasn't happy about that. Also was told I could pick up at 7am and when I was there they said you don't know what your talking about because they don't get started till 7:30JOSEPH T.
