It would be nice to let the customer know up front when reserving online that a hold on their card will be charged regardless of payment made separately. My card was charged AFTER vehicle was rented, used, and returned almost a week earlier which, not having a lot of cash, caused an overdraft on my bank account that I got hit with which I'm sure U-Haul will not be reimbursing me for which I'm also not happy about. I will not be reserving any vehicles online going forward. If I need one I might walk into an actual place, if not a competitor.

Rented the truck through the U-Haul app. Picked it up at 6:30 on a Friday evening. The app didn't work for check in, so the person at the location did it on his computer. He proceeded to put one plastic bag of blankets in the truck. There were only 6 blankets in the bag, and I had ordered 12. This was discovered the next morning. About 7:30 AM on Saturday the person at the branch called me and said I needed to return the truck, he had rented it to someone else. I told him I had rented it for 24 hrs, and was just beginning to use it. I finished with the truck and returned it to the pickup location at 12:30 PM Saturday afternoon. No one was at the location to check me in, so I tried the u-haul app again, and it still did not work. I called the customer service line to let them know I had returned the truck and had only received 6 blankets instead of 12. They said they would note my record. When I received my bill, I was charged for 2 days of truck usage, and 12 blankets. I called u-haul to tell them about the problem and they said they would look into it. There was nothing on my record about my call to customer service. I'm still waiting on reimbursement from u-haul. I'm very disappointed with their service, the app, and this location. I would recommend renting from another place, or even another rental agency.

First you should notify the customer at least 8 hours before pick up that the pick up location had changed, not 1 hour before. Also you should have your maintenance crews to over look the equipment before it’s rented. I am very unsatisfied customer. I well never recommend U haul for any needs at all

The woman at the counter didnt speak English, and when she went to get someone who did she was rude to him even! I handed her my ID to scan, she scanned it thenTHREW it at me and smirked. Maybe she thought it was funny that i was annoyed at how long it was taking for her to figure out what she was doing. I also heard her then say something about a "stupid white girl" and pointed right at me. I know a tad of spanish, so i knew exactly what she was saying. When i returned, the gentleman that helped me was much more helpful and polite. Because of that woman, and how i saw her treating her co workers and customers, i will never return. Ive heard similar stories as well.

had difficulty starting the truck every time. Could not figure out what the secret was, but playing with the steering wheel and pressing down on the break pedal worked after several attempts every time we needed to start the truck. Most annoying.

I rented the Uhual 2 months before I was moving. I got a call the day before I was moving and they told me that my location that I reserved over a month ago did not have the truck I needed and told me I needed to drive an extra 40 minutes to pick up the truck. When I got to the other location, they told me they did not have the truck. After "some searching" they found the truck that I reserved. This was horrendous service and Uhaul did a terrible job servicing their customers. I most likely will not use Uhaul again and will hire movers or use Budget next time.

The person accepting my return could not speak English fully - only Spanish. She had to call someone to understand I was returning a car trailer - not picking one up. Very poor customer service and unprofessional.

The guy at our pick up place was very uninformed about our reservation. It took me talking to customer service to get things right but even then, the reservation was wrong so our drop off location was not happy with us. We ordered for three days but system showed for two.
