1. overcharge $6.3 for the gas since I just drop off the uhaul after open hours. Before I just dropped off the uhaul, I filled about 3 gallon gas for my 36miles using to the initial line at 5/16 (middle of 1/4 and 3/8). But the officer still consider it as at 1/4 line and charge me additional 3 gallon gas for $6.3. This is ridiculous. 2. The door of the uhaul is broken.

I was charged for using the truck for 2 days when I rented it from 9 am-7pm. They mentioned that since I put 4 hrs on my application they charged me double. If you pay $19.95 for the day it should be exactly for that the day.. I also tried to purchase a furniture Dollie and they could not provide that either. This has been a poor experience and I don’t plan on using Uhaul again due to their deceptive pricing.

I reserved 2 furniture dollies, but showed up on the day of pickup and there were none. I then had to run around town trying to find dollies - ending up having to rent from Home Depot and eat into my rental time.

My experience was horrible & had nothing to do with this location. I made reservations @ 14th street online, was called the day of my move to advise no truck was available, sent to Collier St advised no trucks, finally given a smaller truck which took more trips to move= more money for them at $.99 a mile. There were several people with the same issue. Horrible service, could careless about customer reservations, was told this happens every Saturday.

I had an absolutely awful experience with uhaul this weekend. I booked a truck roughly 3 weeks ago at the peidmont rd location. Without informing me, uhaul changed my pick up site to a further location because they did not have the truck I ordered at peidmont rd. When I got to the further location the man laughed at me and said he didn't have a truck available for me and "already had more reservations than trucks." Why would anyone logically do that? I then called back to my original location (very angry) and she connected me with some sort of area manager who sent me to yet a 3rd location (even further) to pick up a truck. At this point I was already an hour behind on my day and I was only supposed to have the truck for 5 hours. She told me I could only keep the new truck for 4 hours. Why should I be penalized for their mistake??? So I showed up at the 3rd location and the man said he had my reservation but laughed because someone locked the keys in the truck and the man wouldn't be there for 30 minutes to get them. WHATTTT????? I was very angry. After some strong convincing he eventually gave me another truck on the lot. I'm not sure if I was screwing someone else over or if it was not booked for that day but the man working said uhaul does this all the time and people frequently come in angry. I had a terrible experience and uhaul ruined my moving day. I will not be using this company again.

In order to actually crank the U-Haul, there was a trick where you have to wiggle the steering wheel, and the check engine light was on the whole time I had it--but it otherwise drove well. I'd also recommend you be more aware of the times allowed for scheduled pick-up vs. the closing time of the locations. In my case, both of those times were 5:30, and I thankfully made it there just a couple minutes before the employee left, but I can easily see where that may not have turned out well.

Location attendants were great but the Appliance Dollie was absolutely useless. As if Alternator belts were used around the bottom piece that should move on the edge of stairs.The belts would not budge when trying to go down stairs. I could not use the Dollie and it was wasted money that I DO NOT have to waste.

The truck needs some work but got the job done. The lights were hard to turn on and off bc the knob kept falling back behind the dashboard and I would have to spend time fishing it out. There was no ramp on the back of the truck. There was nothing to hold the dolly and handtruck in place so they kept sliding around and slamming into the walls. The attendant was very nice, efficient, courteous, professional, and personable. That's why I will recommend this location to others.
