Having Rented many U haul trucks and trailers at many locations - Have two comments (a) each site needs to do a little better on checking wind shield wipers on trucks as it is something a renter should not be surprised with during a rain storm and (b) Trucks & trailers should be checked for rain leaks as it is not fun to find water on your goods after driving in a rain storm.

Staff is not trained on the computer or the products. The manager left the location while a new hire was trying to do my reservation. It was a disaster

Our reservations were at 1:45PM for pick up at the Milam location in Beaumont and the manager there is rude and confrontational. He made my co-worker think she was in the wrong place to pick it up so I went in there and told him that we were in the right place. He said that he "quaranteed" me that I wasn't and began to tell me that he was reading the email on his computer screen. I pulled up my email to prove to him that it did state his location as pick up site but he still insisted my email was wrong! I am not sure how that location stays in business with the lack of security and a manager with a "no fault" attitude. As he is arguing with me about the pick up location He resent an email with the change of pick up location. Their gate was broken for over a month and our motorhome was stolen from the property and NEVER an apology or an acceptance of responsibility for the security breach!

Seems like the price may be going up for uhaul rentals. Very expensive for the truck rental, but the free month of storage made it a little better.

Staff needs to be trained on how to explain to customers, so they can know what is required to rent the pickup truck or van. Due to the fact it different than renting a regular U-Haul truck. And not waiting for the customer to get into the store then explain and having to be inconvenience of going back and forward getting the proper documents needed to process the order. And after all of that the owner had no sympathy what so ever for the customer being misinformed.

Find a new owner that knows how to talk to his customers and employees. How to teach his employees the computer system. When a customer has already reserved on line (all credit card info asked by uhaul.com) , the customer shouldn't be told we don't keep that information in the system. If uhaul offers a 5x10 in their system on line then the customer shouldn't be told that uhaul doesn't have 5x10 in their system..
